Ask Narcissus
Design intention:
The "Guidelines for the Learning and Development of Children Aged 3 to 6" (hereinafter referred to as the "Guidelines") point out that "use Stimulate children's love for their hometown in a way that children like to hear, see, see, see, hear, see, see, see, see, see, see, and understand in a way that they can understand." According to the spirit of the "Guide" and combined with the "Gamification of Music Teaching" project currently being carried out in our kindergarten, I designed this singing activity. It is based on the secondary theme "Specialties of Hometown" in the Taipan Love Hometown theme activity "Beautiful Zhangzhou My Home". Zhangzhou is the hometown of flowers and fruits. Narcissus is one of the "Three Treasures of Zhangzhou" and the city flower of Zhangzhou, which is well-known at home and abroad. In the process of carrying out the theme activities, according to the teaching needs, I created a number of children's songs about singing hometown that are in line with the children's age characteristics and cognitive levels, such as "Asking Narcissus" and the vocal practice song "A Hundred Flowers Bloom in the Hundred Flowers Village" ("Baihua Village") It is a very famous village in Zhangzhou, where the villagers make a living by growing flowers). Among them, the song "Ask Narcissus" has a beautiful melody, easy-to-understand lyrics and is full of local flavor. This singing activity is carried out on the basis of children's preliminary understanding of narcissus and Baihua Village. The four links are connected in the context of "Visiting Baihua Village" and progressed layer by layer to become an organic whole, allowing children to Learn songs unconsciously in a relaxing and enjoyable game, further develop your love for your hometown, improve your musical sensitivity and expressiveness, and experience the fun of singing quiz songs together.

The boy representative takes off his blindfold and goes to the person who sang just now and asks him: "Are you the Narcissus Fairy?" If the answer is correct, the child will answer: "I am the Narcissus Fairy." The boy representative will get a daffodil. ; If a mistake is made, the child will answer: "I am not the daffodil fairy." The boy will not get the daffodil. (Play the game twice to see how many daffodils the boy team can get.)

Attachment: Asking about Narcissus
Note: Jiulong River is the mother river of Zhangzhou, and the foot of Yuanshan Mountain is the origin of narcissus.
2. "I am a little soldier"
Main areas involved: art, society
Design intention:
Selected for this event The music is the seventh movement of the "Yellow River Cantata" - "Defend the Yellow River", composed by Chinese composer Xian Xinghai during the Anti-Japanese War. The style of this piece of music is bright and bold, and the musical image is particularly vivid, such as "the wind is roaring and the horses are braying" in the song, as well as the way of singing in unison and in turn, one after another, one wave higher than the other, a picture of marching and fighting. The picture pops up before your eyes. So, I created a game scenario in which small soldiers marched across the Yellow River to fight the enemy.
The whole piece of music has an ABA structure. The music in section A is bright and powerful, while the music in section B is tense and fast. Based on the obvious changes in the music, a story situation of practicing skills - crossing the Yellow River, climbing a barbed wire - and fighting bravely is created. It aims to truly allow children to learn through play and learn through play through effective interaction with music; at the same time, it attempts to make children initially familiar with and like music with Chinese national characteristics.
Activity goals:
1. Be familiar with the melody of music and perceive the majestic and powerful characteristics of the music;
2. Try to create movements according to the rhythm of music, and use movements to fully express the plot of practicing skills, crossing the Yellow River, crawling forward, fighting bravely, etc.;
3. Patriotic feelings sprouted.
Activity preparation: video clips, music "Defend the Yellow River", props. Activity process:
1. Video import to understand the music background.
Teacher: Have you seen war movies?
Today the teacher also brought a short excerpt, please watch it!
Teacher: What did you see?
Young: The wind was strong and the current of the Yellow River was very fast; the soldiers were carrying weapons, some on foot and some on horseback; they were fighting. The enemy...
Summary: Yes, many years ago, our family and our motherland were invaded by Japanese soldiers. Thousands of Chinese soldiers, including ordinary people, took up arms and started a war with the enemy. , and finally defeated the enemy, they were not strong enough (Commentary: The video guide vividly showed the children the scene of the Yellow River being turbulent and the waves strong, and the soldiers marching back and forth carrying their weapons, fighting bravely against the enemy despite difficulties. The video here is erased The original sound is paired with the music "Defend the Yellow River" selected for this activity to guide children to experience the majestic characteristics of the music while initially understanding the history of the Anti-Japanese War)
2. Listen to the music and guide the game.
(1) Appreciate section A and practice the game.
Teacher: Today we will listen to nice music and become little soldiers, and we will play a game of beating the enemy. You must practice various skills before fighting the enemy.
Teacher: What skills are you going to practice?
Younger: You can practice boxing/shooting, bayoneting/throwing grenades...
Teacher: Let us follow and gain strength. Practice with music, and you will be more impressive when shouting slogans while trying to practice your skills.
Teacher: Let’s listen to music and practice these skills together! (Commentary analysis: The teacher asked the question, what skills are you going to practice? The children fully mobilized their existing experience and came up with various skills that can be practiced. The teacher guided: "Ask this soldier to lead everyone to practice the skills together." The individual experience of the children is transformed into the children Based on their collective experience, they followed the rhythm of the music to create movements such as boxing, shooting, bayonet practice, and throwing grenades. Finally, they connected these skills to perform them as a whole, from the divergence of thinking to the integration of movements, and at the same time showed the ability to follow. The neat and beautiful movements of music drills. )
(2) Appreciate section B, the game of crossing water at night.
Teacher: Get ready to go! We first had to cross the rough Yellow River before arriving at the enemy camp.
Teacher: Listen! What dangers will we encounter along the way (play B section music)
Teacher: You seem to hear something
Children: Horses braying, wind/very dangerous sounds... …
First, the marching and crossing game. (Prelude to Music B)
①Teacher: Yes, the wind is roaring and the horses are braying. Who will try what will happen to the soldiers?
Young: The little soldier was blown back several steps by the wind/The little soldier was blown around by the wind...
The horse is barking, it is very dangerous, you need to rein in!
②Teacher: The turbulent Yellow River is ahead. How are you going to cross the Yellow River?
Younger: Rowing, swimming/building bridges/horseback riding...
Teacher: Use your best ideas to lead the soldiers across the river and try it!
③Let’s try to connect while listening to music!
Second, cross the blockade. (Music B back section)
Division: We finally crossed the Yellow River. In front of us is the enemy camp. The enemy is very cunning. They have searchlights and low barbed wire. What should we do?
Child: Climb over/Lie down very low, so as not to touch the barbed wire...
Teacher: Please practice following the music!
Summary: By crawling like this, you can neither touch the barbed wire nor be easily spotted by searchlights.
(Commentary: In this link, the teacher guides the children to understand the music on the basis of fully feeling and appreciating the music, and then uses their own movements to express the music. The teacher "stands behind the children" as much as possible , giving them room to think and practice. Of course, teachers are always in the lead, supporting children's development and leading children to focus on problems that need to be solved. For example, in order to allow children to better express the scene of marching across the river in the first half of the music, children's songs are used. : The wind is roaring, hoot; the horse is barking, hoot! I'll row/I'll ??swim..., 121212!) (3) Appreciate section C, fighting game.
Division: What are we going to do when we break into the enemy camp?
Young: Fight with the enemy!
Teacher: Let us use the skills we practiced before to defeat the enemy! Be careful, there are enemies behind you! left! ...
Summary: Our little soldiers are so smart, they will fight wherever there are enemies.
(Commentary: If the previous step is "collect", this link is "release", guiding the children to use their favorite actions to express fighting according to the rhythm of the music. With the foundation of the practice game, the children can follow the teacher's instructions (4) Complete listening and continuous play.
①Listen to the music ABA in its entirety and review each plot.
Teacher: Let’s listen to the music together and recall how we fought just now
Teacher: How many sections of music can we hear
Children: Three sections .
Summary: The first stage is to practice skills, the second stage is to cross the Yellow River and climb the barbed wire fence, and the third stage is to fight the enemy. ② Play the game continuously to show your training skills, such as crossing the Yellow River, crawling forward and fighting bravely.
Division: This is our army’s position, with the Yellow River in front, and the enemy camp over there. Let’s practice!
Summary: The little soldiers are really capable, they understand the command of music, and they drove away the enemy again!
③Add the prelude to complete the performance.
Teacher: This time we are really going to fight! What should I bring with me in a real fight?
Young: Weapons!
Division: Choose your favorite weapon for each soldier. Listen, what (horn)
Division: The battle horn has sounded, let us start the battle for victory!
Division: Little soldiers, we are going to win! Come on, let's raise the explosives together and blow up the enemy's bunker! Look, our red flag is flying in the wind over the enemy camp, we are victorious!
(Commentary: This link first allows the children to perceive the ABA structure of the music as a whole and recall the storyline that matches the music; then the children choose their favorite props, and with the playing of the battle horn, the children's emotions It was a pleasant and exciting experience; in the end, the teacher and the children raised the explosive packs to blow up the enemy bunker, and at the same time, the teacher in charge raised the five-star red flag and danced in the wind amidst the exciting music, bringing the children to the climax of the activity).
3. The teacher introduces the music completely to guide the children to develop patriotic emotions.
Teacher: Today we listened to this nice song and played the game of beating the enemy. This song is called "Defend the Yellow River". It was composed by Xian Xinghai, a very famous musician in my country. In the past, we The revolutionary soldiers listened to this song and defeated the enemy on the battlefield and defended the motherland. We will also need to learn more skills in the future to build our country stronger. Do you have confidence? Okay, pick up our weapons and prepare for future efforts!
(Commentary - In this session, the teacher introduced the name of the music to the children - "Defend the Yellow River", as well as its author and the historical background of the composition, because this kind of good music material with Chinese characteristics has It is necessary for children to have a preliminary understanding, which also lays the foundation for them to be exposed to more good music works in the future)
Reflection on activities:
Music game activities not only provide young children with a wealth of information. The plot is interesting and provides children with the enjoyment of musical beauty. The "Outline" and "Guide" point out: Cultivate children to like artistic activities and be able to boldly express their emotions, let children communicate with their peers in music games, and build trust, understanding and friendship with each other. In this activity, I strive to create interesting music situations for children and guide them to experience music freely and independently on the basis of fully experiencing music.
In the choice of music, reflect the nation and explore the connotation. In previous music activities, we have experienced more foreign music. When I saw such good music material as "Defend the Yellow River", I thought that this year coincides with the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, so I chose I chose this song as the music for the event. At the same time, I was thinking: How can such a magnificent and national music be conveyed to children?
After understanding the creative background and detailed interpretation of this song, I created The plot of a small soldier crossing the Yellow River to fight the enemy, this storyline and the music are very appropriate. Thus, the connotation and meaning of music can be explored in a simple and profound way.
Teachers provide opportunities and focus on individuals under the guidance of teachers. The "Outline" clearly states: "Respect the individual differences of children in terms of development level, ability, experience, learning style, etc., teach according to each individual, and strive to ensure that every child can be satisfied and successful." During the water play session, the teachers asked questions to inspire the children to think, and guided the children with strong abilities to express and create while providing role models for children who need to imitate and ideas for children who need to learn from them. The teachers also used words and body movements to encourage and hint that they were not bold enough. For children with poor performance, we use scattered points to practice, fully providing space for children, so that each child has a chance to show off. The teacher's encouragement has a radiating effect of 10% to 10% and plays a role in leading children, "encouraging" children and stimulating children's development.
In terms of emotional experience, auxiliary props add to the fun. Appropriate use of props in music games can enable children to develop in interaction with materials and add interest to activities. Children in the top class like to play war games, especially boys. In the final complete performance link, I provided props such as toy guns, toy swords, grenades, and explosive packs. The children brought their favorite weapons to the battlefield to make them more familiar with the activities. interest became more intense. When the children performed heroic battle scenes with the enemy and saw several cartoon Japanese soldiers standing on the beacon tower of the enemy camp built high with cardboard boxes, their emotions became even higher. They used the skills they had learned previously to capture the enemy in one fell swoop. At this time, they should With exciting music, our five-star red flag fluttered in the wind over the enemy camp. This exciting scene directly pushed the event to a climax. Both the children and the teachers were deeply affected by the scene. Patriotism arose spontaneously and their emotions could not be calmed down. It was evocative.
Three "Blue and White Porcelain"
Main areas involved: Art
Background of the activity:
Blue and White Porcelain is famous for its The unique artistic features are known as China's "national porcelain" and a symbol of Chinese culture. Blue and white porcelain products can be seen everywhere in people's lives, and they are also very good art appreciation teaching materials for children, which can not only expand children's horizons, but also enrich their aesthetic taste. Communicate and share with your peers.
(Analysis: This link mainly allows children to evaluate each other’s works and choose the “most impressive designer”. ***Experience the joy brought by the painting activity together.)
Reflection on the activity :
The top class art activity "Blue and White Porcelain" is used as the teaching material. The activity first invites children to appreciate the blue and white porcelain vase and understand the characteristics of blue and white porcelain. The blue and white porcelain bottles we choose must have obvious characteristics, such as clear and simple patterns that are easy for children to observe, whether the patterns are repeated and symmetrical, and the main picture can be symmetrical or have a theme. After the children saw the pictures, they all said, "Wow, blue and white porcelain is so beautiful!" After children have a certain understanding and interest in ancient Chinese blue and white porcelain, they can be encouraged to imagine how to design the pattern of the blue and white porcelain vase. After studying this class, I have the following insights:
First, the perfect combination of "beauty of life" and "beauty of science and technology". This class takes the large class art activity "Blue and White Porcelain" as an example to experience the perfect combination of the beauty of life and the beauty of technology. The creation of situations, through the rendering of multimedia courseware, music, and appreciation of physical objects, creates an atmosphere of harmonious integration of sound, color, and scenery. The children fully experienced the beauty of blue and white porcelain through environmental rendering and courseware appreciation. The teacher leads the children into the scene with the gentle music, and then uses friendly and comfortable language to guide the children to appreciate it, so that the children can immediately integrate into the quiet and harmonious world of blue and white. Music, language, and scenes are all so beautiful, fully embodying the perfect combination of "beauty of life" and "beauty of technology." During the activity, teachers collected materials in place, providing children with a rich variety of blue and white porcelain objects and pictures, and appropriately used multimedia courseware to further maximize the value of educational materials. There are a lot of operational materials for young children, especially the painting materials provided for young children (clothing linings, cake cardboard, hand-held paper bags, etc.), which give children with different abilities the opportunity to explore in depth and better reflect individual differences.
Secondly, life comes from art, and art comes from life. Blue and white porcelain is China's national quintessence. We have an obligation to let our children understand China's national quintessence art, blue and white porcelain. Therefore, we use a piece of popular music with Chinese style that is very popular recently, so that children can experience the quintessence of Chinese art in the beautiful, graceful and elegant music. In order to allow children to appreciate and understand blue and white porcelain more closely, real objects of blue and white porcelain are also provided, allowing children to use various senses to experience the characteristics of blue and white porcelain. The level of children in art activities is basically the same
. It is better to help the children in the upper class to understand some painting skills unconsciously than to practice many times aimlessly. The mastery of points, lines and surfaces is the most basic element for expressing shapes in painting. Points, lines and surfaces are a very important content in art activities. Mastering it well will be of great help to the improvement of painting. The entire activity progresses step by step, starting from the overall shape of the blue and white porcelain to the patterns of the blue and white porcelain, allowing children to continuously challenge the difficulty in the activity, experience the quintessence of Chinese classics in creation, and stimulate children's inner potential, desire to explore, and inspiration for creation.
