Major and minor thirds are consonant intervals
In current traditional thinking, major and minor thirds, major and minor sixths, pure fours, pure fifths, and pure one, pure eights all belong to consonant intervals.
Baroque music often used major triads ending in minor music because the minor third was considered dissonant during that period.
Concord is mainly based on inner feelings. Therefore, in modern music, many people believe that major and minor second degrees, major and minor seventh degrees, plus four and minus five are also consonants. It is even considered that traditional consonant intervals are dissonant.
