Wang Yunjie was born on August 29, 1911 in Dawangjia Village, Longkou City, Shandong Province. Famous Chinese composer, music educator and theorist.

In 1927, he studied in the Music Department of Xinhua University of the Arts in Shanghai, and later transferred to the Music Department of the University of Humanities and Arts. In 1931, he studied piano with Professor Kupka at Tsinghua University in Peking. From 1937 to 1938, he participated in the leadership of Xian Xinghai "Xinghai Singing Team", joined the Shanghai Kunlun Film Company in 1947, and studied advanced music theory under Tan Xiaolin and other professors in 1948. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he served as a composition class teacher at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and was employed many times as a postgraduate master's thesis at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. When composing the music for the film "Roaring Rivers", he went to the location in a large truck with young people. Wang Yunjie died of cerebral hemorrhage in Shanghai on June 4, 1996.
