Introduction
Zhang Fuzhong, Young quhu performer, member of the Henan Branch of the Chinese Musicians Association, band leader of the Henan Opera Troupe, lead pianist, and chief quhu of the "Liyuan Spring" column of Henan TV. He studied art with his father at the age of 9. In 1989, he was admitted to Nanyang Culture and Art School, specializing in Quhu. In 1992, he was assigned to the Henan Opera Troupe with outstanding results. Later, he became a student of Mr. Song Xiyuan, a quhu performer. He won the Outstanding Music Accompaniment Award in provincial drama competitions many times. He twice went to Taiwan to perform for compatriots, and was deeply loved by the audience. Many of his plays have been recorded and videotaped by central, provincial and municipal radio and television stations.
Zhang Fuzhong has just entered his thirties. Over the years, he has always devoted himself to the art career of Quhu with firm perseverance and fighting spirit.
