In 1821 AD, a band master in Thailand named Badin became obsessed with drum-making technology and wanted to make the most exquisite drum. In the end he succeeded, but in the process of building the drum, his daughter suddenly fell ill and died.
Sixty years later, a master named Duang passed on Badin’s Bowman drum and drumming skills. They believe that there is a soul in this drum that will protect the drummer, but once you decide to learn this drum, you will never be able to violate this instrument. Anyone who leaves this instrument will die within 3 days.
The protagonist of this work is a young man named Ping from Somburi. He is the child of a royal musician. He has excellent musical talent and is good at playing Tarpon Valley. Ping went to Duang's band with the letter. He worshiped Duang as his teacher, hoping to learn Bowman drums. There was a hut in the forest that was forbidden to enter. One night, Ping heard the sound of drums coming from inside. He walked in out of curiosity and met a girl who told him to leave. After that, he dreamed of some fragmentary plots. After that, Ping went to the hut again and said that he just wanted to find a place to practice drumming without causing trouble. The girl no longer chased him away and told him that her name was Thip. Thip takes Ping to the lake, where a Bowman drum is placed, and she tells him that the water allows people to practice calmingly. Ping's skills are getting better and better, and Thip discovers that he is indeed very good, as if he was sent by God to save the band, and the two of them fall in love with each other day by day.
A man named Depti runs another band. He has a hobby of collecting special musical instruments, and he has obtained many musical instruments through unfair means before. This time he took a fancy to the Bowman drum passed down by the Duang Band, and let the soul in it protect him. First there was inducement, and then there was coercion to get it.
Depti first proposed to merge the band, but Duang refused, so he used a trick to make Duang lose the competition and took away his band members. Only Ping and another member Kahn flowed down. Deputi wants to take away all the instruments of the band, including the inherited Bowman drum, and Duang proposes a legitimate competition to determine the winner. Ping was victorious, but Depti took the drum away by force.
Duang and Ping had a long talk that night. Ping is a descendant of Master Shao, and Shao and Duang's father founded the orchestra together. He hopes that Ping will inherit the orchestra. Because the drum was taken away, Duang will also be punished with death.
All members who betrayed were punished with death one after another.
The soul in the drum turned out to be Thip, and the man who made the Bowman drum was his adoptive father. She loved her father so much that she was willing to be killed in order to fulfill his wish. She made a drum out of her own skin and has been restrained ever since, as well as the band members.
Finally ping knew the truth. Before his death, Depti broke the Bowman drum with a knife in retaliation, and Thip was seriously injured as a result. Ping hugged Thip, and the two told each other their true feelings. "There is nothing eternal in the world, only the memory of true love in our hearts will always be with us. Once I chose my own path and tortured myself in never-ending pain. But this time you chose the path for me . Take good care of yourself, from now on, I will never have the chance to take care of you again" - these are Thip's last words, which are touching. In order to completely free Thip, Ping personally gave him a farewell verse on his new year. Thip disappeared, leaving only the string of bells he had brought. But true love lasts forever.
Many, many years later, Ping became the master of his band. During a performance, he looked at the dancing girl, and it seemed that his beloved was dancing in a trance. The bell in Lao Ping's hand fell down and he passed away.
This film is actually a touching film about a man and a ghost falling in love.
The ending song is a highlight of this film - the melody is sad and beautiful, with the slow guitar breakdown rhythm, the poignant violin melody, the meandering high-pitched male voice, and the rapid Bowman drum beat, which makes the film very exciting. It is unforgettable and shocking! Especially the male singer's singing, soft, heavy, slow, urgent, soft chanting, roaring, interpreting the story's poignancy and heroism with a very charming singing voice, expressing emotions vividly and leaving people unfinished.
