Plot summary:
After the September 18th Incident, the anti-Japanese Liberation Society uprising in North Korea failed, and a pair of revolutionary patriots fled to China with their young daughter Yingzi and son Yingnan. The husband died because of the failure of organizing the anti-Japanese struggle. The wife and her two children fled to the Gejie area in the middle and lower reaches of the Songhua River and participated in the local anti-Japanese struggle. Together with their son Yingnan, they were tortured and killed by the Japanese. After becoming an orphan, Yingzi witnessed everything and was rescued by the guerrillas and taken into the mountains. In order to fulfill the promise made to the martyr - to protect her alive until the end of the war and return her to North Korea, the guerrillas fought one after another and sacrificed heroically. The protected person became the last surviving soldier of the team and the owner of the military flag. Miraculously, the dawn of victory ushered in on behalf of all the dead.
