Extended information
At present, most grading institutions generally stipulate:
1. Except for the performance level, all subjects are allowed to apply for cross-level examinations, and there is no need to apply for each level. To apply, candidates can directly apply for the corresponding level exam based on their actual level, but they are required to certify the corresponding level of basic music knowledge (hereinafter referred to as: music basics) certificate.
2. Candidates applying for Level 1 and Level 2 of each subject do not need to be certified with a pronunciation certificate. Candidates who apply for Level 3 to Level 6 of each subject must be certified with the New Music Basics Junior Certificate or the Old Music Basics Level 1 Certificate (there is no such requirement for those under 7 years old and over 40 years old).
3. Candidates who apply for Level 7 of each subject must be certified with the New Music Basics Intermediate Certificate or the Old Music Basics Level 2 Certificate (there is no such requirement for those under 7 years old and over 40 years old).
