Adagio Soothing Song by Tommaso Albinoni Tomaso Albinoni
PS: Albinoni's most famous work is "Adagio in G Minor" (this soothing piece), so much so that it is called "Albinoni Adagio" (Albinoni Adagio) . However, according to scholars' research, this fragment was not written by him.
During World War II, the Milanese music scholar Remo Giazotto had just completed Albinoni's biography and catalog of works. In 1945, he discovered a manuscript fragment in the Dresden Library in Germany. , suspected to be Albinoni's work. Giazzotto thought it sounded very good, so he wrote a piece of music using this melody, which was later passed down as "Albinoni Adagio". It is a work by Giazzotto and should be called "Giazzotto Adagio", but people are still used to calling it "Albinoni Adagio".
