Shandong Normal University Conservatory of Music, founded in 195, is an earlier art department in China. It has 63 faculty members, including 8 professors, more than 2 associate professors, 8 tutors for master students, 951 undergraduates, nearly 9 graduate students (including in-service) and 1,5 correspondence students.
The Conservatory of Music has musicology (music education) department, music performance department, dance department, music research institute and theory teaching department (with majors in composition and composition technology theory and musicology). Musicology major
Training objectives: This major trains teachers, music researchers and art educators who master the basic theory, knowledge and skills of the subject, and have music teaching and teaching research in colleges and secondary schools.

Musicology major enrollment requirements: Meet the national enrollment requirements, have the training conditions for music teachers or music teaching and research, have good facial features, and have no ear or throat diseases.
Music performance major
Training objective: to train talents with music performance, who can perform, teach and research in professional art groups, art colleges and relevant departments and institutions.
main courses: performance (vocal music, keyboard, instrumental music), basic music theory, solfeggio, Chinese and foreign music history and appreciation, musical form analysis, harmony, national folk music, ensemble (chorus) chamber music, opera performance, artistic practice, etc.
Admission requirements for music performance major: it meets the national admission requirements, and the candidates have good facial features and good image. Candidates in vocal music direction must have a good voice, no ear and throat diseases, and have the conditions for cultivating professional singing talents. The male height is 1.7 meters and the female height is over 1.6 meters. Candidates in the direction of piano, accordion and instrumental music must have good performance ability and solo level, and have the conditions for cultivating professional talents.
Dance major
Training goal: to master the basic theory and knowledge of dance subject, have the ability of dance performance, understand the knowledge of related disciplines, and be able to engage in dance performance, teaching and research in professional literary and art organizations, colleges and universities.
main courses: introduction to dance art, music theory, Chinese and foreign music appreciation, dance choreography, Chinese and foreign dance history, Chinese and foreign folk dance appreciation, ballet, folk dance, classical dance, modern dance, etc.
Admission requirements for dancing major: In line with the national admission requirements, candidates must have correct facial features, good image, coordinated body proportions and good basic skills in dancing. Height is 1.7 meters for men and 1.6 meters for women (under 18 years of age can be appropriately relaxed).
The major of composition and composition technology theory
