There are two districts in the northern suburbs of Xi'an, Weiyang District and Xi'an Economic and Technological Development Zone.

The northern suburbs of Xi'an are located in the urban-rural fringe, north of Fengcheng 1st Road, Weiyang District, and belong to the Xi'an Economic and Technological Development Zone. Xi'an is located in the middle of the Guanzhong Plain, bordering the Weihe River to the north, the Qinling Mountains to the south, and eight rivers that moisten Chang'an.

Xi'an City is located in the Guanzhong Basin in the middle of the Wei River Basin, between 107.40 degrees to 109.49 degrees east longitude and 33.42 degrees to 34.45 degrees north latitude. It borders the Wei River and the Loess Plateau to the north and the Qinling Mountains to the south. It is bounded by Linghe River and Bayuan Mountains in the east, and connected with Huazhou District, Weinan City, Shangzhou City and Luonan County of Weinan City.

Xi'an City is bounded by the Taibai Mountains and Qinghua Loess Plateau to the west, and Mei County and Taibai County; to the main ridge of the North Qinling Mountains in the south, it is bounded by Foping County, Ningshan County, and Zhashui County ; It reaches the Wei River in the north, crosses the Wei River in the northeast, and is adjacent to Xianyang City, Yangling District and Sanyuan, Jingyang, Xingping, Wugong, Fufeng and Fuping counties (cities).

Scenic spots:

Xi'an Chanba National Wetland Park is located in the north wing of the Chanba Ecological Zone's planned layout structure of "one heart and three wings". The entire area is distributed on the east and west banks of the Bahe River. , with a total planned area of ??approximately 5.81 square kilometers.

The Big Wild Goose Pagoda North Square is located in the southern suburbs of Xi'an City. It houses the largest musical fountain in Asia and presents a spectacular fountain show to the audience every night.

The city-ring park takes the ancient city wall as the main line, supplemented by greening around the city, and is surrounded by a moat. It has a simple, rough style, wild charm, and strong local characteristics.
