The unified examination for music majors in general colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province is an important part of the national general college entrance examination. Its purpose is to evaluate the professional level and comprehensive quality of candidates through examinations, and to provide a basic basis for enrolling new students in colleges and universities.

The unified examination for music majors refers to the standards of ordinary high school music courses and tests candidates’ music listening and notation abilities, singing or playing abilities, and basic knowledge of music theory. Basic music subjects and main examination subjects are compulsory, and additional examination subjects can be selected by candidates according to their own circumstances. The total professional score is 300 points.
