1. Diacritical marks
Including sharps, flats, reductions, double sharpens, double flats
2. Extension marks
(1) Written above or below the note, it means extending the duration of the note. There is no fixed length for the extension. Generally, the duration of the original note can be played to about twice the duration.
(2) Written above the bar line, it means that there should be a moment of pause between two bars before continuing.
(3) Written on the complex vertical line, it indicates the end of the music section.
3. Omit marks
(1) Repeat mark. If you repeat it from the beginning, you don’t need to write the previous double vertical line and add a small dot.
(2) For repeated marks with different endings, play the first ending the first time, and skip the first ending and play the second ending directly the second time.
