The levels of Emperor Ballet are introduced as follows:
Level 10.
Emperor Ballet’s amateur grading examination is from pp to level 8, ***level 10. Emperor Ballet professional level has 5 levels from IF to A2
Enlightenment and beginner. Referred to as PP level (Enlightenment) and P level (Beginner) courses, they are designed to help students improve their movement skills, endurance, creativity, expression and musicality for various auditory stimulations and musical styles.
As a foundation, this section prepares students for a smooth transition into ballet and other types of dance. This level course is suitable for students aged 5 to 8 years old.
Grade 1-Grade 8 (Grade 1-Grade 8)
Focusing on ballet, it establishes a framework for students’ practical dance education and gradually improves their technical, musical and performance skills. .
The main content is composed of two parts: ballet training (Ballet) and character dance (Character).
The basic training of ballet is suitable for the freer and gradually improved practice of today's dancers;
Character dance (also known as representative dance) uses national styles (Hungarian dance, Russian dance and polonaise) dance and music are freely adapted and presented on the stage. Course content starting at level 1 is suitable for students aged 7 and above.
Emperor’s Ballet Examination Age
Emperor’s Ballet Examination Age is divided into: Beginner Level, Elementary Level, Level 1, and Level 2: 3 to 12 years old; Level 3, Level 4, and Level 5: 8 to 18 years old; Level 6, Level 7, and Level 8: 11 to 25 years old.
The King's Ballet Examination is administered by the Royal Academy of Dance. RAD, a series of classical ballet examination systems developed, currently has 250,000 candidates taking the Emperor's Ballet examinations every year. Emperor Ballet's grading system is the most widely used and influential ballet grading exam in the world.
Emperor Ballet examinations are usually conducted in groups of four. Level 1-8 barres are performed by four people together. Intermediate combinations for levels 1 to 7 include four-person, two-person and solo dances. All four people are in the examination room and wait in the designated position next to them when it is not their turn. Intermediate combinations for level 8 are all solo dances. After the barre is completed collectively, one One enters the ballet examination room to practice alone.
No makeup is allowed during the Emperor Ballet exam. Hair is required to be tied up as much as possible like a dancer. If the hair is too short to be tied up, it should be done as neatly as possible to expose the forehead and ears. It should not be disheveled. You cannot wear any decorations on your head, and the clips can only be black. You are also not allowed to wear any jewelry or decorations on your body.
