See a world from a grain of sand,
See a paradise from a wild flower,
What is in your hand is infinity,
Eternity melts into an hour.
Part 2: love your life
Love life
henry david thoreau/ Henry David Thoreau
however mean your life is,meet it and live it ;do not shun it and call it hard names.it is not so bad as you are.it looks poorest when you are richest.the fault-finder will find faults in paradise.love your life ,poor as it is.you may perhaps have some pleasant,thrilling,glorious hours,even in a poor-house.the setting sun is reflected from the windows of the alms-house as brightly as from the rich man's abode;the snow melts before its door as early in the spring.i do not see but a quiet mind may live as contentedly there,and have as cheering thoughts,as in a palace.the town's poor seem to me often to live the most independent lives of any. may be they are simply great enough to receive without misgiving.most think that they are above being supported by the town;but it often happens that they are not above supporting themselves by dishonest means.which should be more disreputable.cultivate poverty like a garden herb,like sage.do not trouble yourself much to get new things,whether clothes or friends,turn the old,return to them.things do not change;we change.sell your clothes and keep your thoughts.
No matter how humble your life is, you have to face it and live it, don't avoid it, let alone curse it with bad words. It's not as bad as you are. When you are the richest, you appear to be the poorest. People who love to find shortcomings will find them even in heaven. You have to love your life despite its poverty. Even in a workhouse you have moments of joy, joy, and glory. The setting sun reflected on the windows of the almshouse was as bright as on the windows of a rich man's house; in front of the door, the snow melted in early spring. I only see that a calm person can live as contentedly and as full of happy thoughts there as in a palace. It seems to me that the poor in the towns tend to lead the most independent and unruly lives. Maybe because they are great, they deserve it.
Most people think that they are detached and do not rely on towns to support them; but in fact they often use unfair means to deal with life. They are not detached at all, but rather dishonorable. Treat poverty like a flower in the garden and cultivate it like a saint! Don't bother yourself with new tricks, whether it's new friends or new clothes. Find the old one and go back there. Nothing remains the same, we are the ones changing. You can sell your clothes, but keep your thoughts.

the life i desired
The life I pursue
that must be the story of innumerable couples,and the pattern of lifeof life it offers has a homely grace.it reminds you of a placid rivulet,meandering smoohtly through green pastures and shaded by pleasant trees,till at last it falls into the vasty sea;but the sea is so calm,so silent ,so infifferent,that you are troubled suddenly by a vague uneasiness.perhaps it is only by a kink in my nature,strong in me even in those days,that i felt in such an existence,the share of the great majority,something amiss .i recognized its social value.i saw its ordered happiness,but a fever in my blood asked for a wilder course.there seemed to me something alarming in such easy delights.in my heart was desire to live more dangerously.i was not unprepared for jagged rocks and treacherous,shoals it i could only have change-change and the exicitement of unforeseen.
This must be a portrayal of the lives of countless couples in the world. This lifestyle gives people a kind of family beauty. It reminds people of a calm stream, meandering through green pastures, shaded by thick shade, and finally flowing into the vast sea; but the sea is too calm, too silent, too calm, and you will suddenly feel inexplicable uneasiness. Maybe this is just a weird idea of ??my own. At that time, this idea had a profound impact on me: I felt that like most people's lives, something seemed to be missing. I admit that this kind of life has social value, and I also see its orderly happiness, but the impulse in my blood longs for a more unruly journey. There seems to be something in this kind of comfort that makes me frightened and uneasy. My heart yearns for a more thrilling life. As long as there are changes in life - and unknown excitement, I am willing to set foot on the rugged cliffs and rush to the beaches full of reefs.

bids the rash gazer wipe his eye, making those who pass by take a look,
thy root is ever in its grave,
and thou must die.

a box where sweets compacted lie, like a fragrant tree overflowing box,
my music shows ye have your closes,
and all must die, everything must die.

like season'd timber, never gives;

Chapter 7:
the country maid and her milk can
The country maid and her milk can
a country maid was walking along with a can of milk upon her head,when she fell into the following train of reflections."the money for which i shall sell this milk will enable me to increase my stock of eggs to three hundred,these eggs,allowing for what may prove addle,and what may be destroyed by vermin,will produce at least two hundred and fifty chickens.the chickens will be fit to carry to market just at the time when poultry is always dear;so that by the new year i cannot fail of having money enough to purchase a new gown.green-let me consider-yes,green becomes my complexion best .and green it shall be, in this dress i will go to the fair,where all young fellows will strive to have me for a parter ;but no-i shall refuse every one of them, and with a disdainful toss turn from them."
transported with this idea, she could not forbear acting with her head the thought that passed in her mind, when down came the can of milk! and all her imaginary happiness vanished in a moment.
A village girl was walking on the road with a can of milk on her head. As she walked, a series of fantasies emerged in her mind: "After I sell this can of milk, I will use the money to buy eggs, so that the number of eggs I have can be increased to 300. Use these 300 eggs to hatch chicks." , even if there are some that are bad or infested with insects, at least 250 chicks can be hatched. When the chicks grow up, they will be sold at a good price; then in the New Year, I will have money to buy a new one. Evening wear. Get a green one - let me think about it - yes, green matches my skin tone best. I would wear this dress to the fair and all the young guys would be asking me to be their dancing partner; but no. ——I want to raise my head contemptuously, turn around and ignore them, and let them all hit a wall.
She was so carried away that she couldn't help but raise her head, and in an instant, the milk can fell. Come down! All the happiness she imagined was shattered.
Part 8:
the day is cold, and dark, and dreary;
it rains, and the wind is never weary;
the vine still clings to the moldering wall,
but at every gust the dead leaves fall,
and the day is dark and dreary.
my life is cold and dark and dreary;
it rains and the wind is never weary;
my though still clinging to the moldering past,
but the hopes of youth fall thick in the blast,
and the days are dark and dreary.
be still,sad heart!and cease repining;
behind the clouds is the sun still shining;
thy fate is the common fate of all,
into each life some rain must fall,
some days must be dark and dreary.
The weather is cold, dark and dull;
It is raining and the wind is blowing non-stop;
The vines are still clinging to the ruins.
Every time there is a strong wind, the dead leaves fall one after another.
The sky is dark and dull.
My life is cold, gloomy and dull;
It is raining and the wind is blowing constantly;
My thoughts are still entangled with the vanished past,
In the strong wind, my youthful hopes were extinguished one after another,
The innocence is dark and dull.
Be still, sad heart! Stop regretting;
The sun is still shining brightly behind the dark clouds;
Your fate is the same as everyone else’s,
Everyone has to encounter rain in his life,
