Huang Guolun, born on November 8, 1962 in Taiwan Province of China, is a popular musician, record producer, composer, lyricist, singer, host, judge, and speaker in Taiwan, China.

Music works include: "I Do", "Men Shouldn't Make Women Cry", "Taste", "Tears", "Don't Tell Him", "Stand By" and Jacky Cheung's "Snow Wolf Lake" "The theme song "How can I leave you" and hundreds of other musical works have won many awards, such as: "Half a Lifetime" won the Golden Horse Award for Best Original Film Song. In November 2009, Huang Guolun married Kou Naixin in Jerusalem. On August 16, 2013, Huang Guolun sang the theme song "Let Dreams Take Flight" at the opening ceremony of the Nanjing Asian Youth Games.

Experiences before entering the entertainment industry

Huang Guolun graduated from the Department of Management Science of National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan, China. Huang Guolun has loved singing since he was a child and has won multiple championships in campus singing competitions. Huang Guolun's music career began in the guitar club of Jianguo Middle School, of which he was the president. While studying at the Department of Management Science at Taiwan's National Chiao Tung University, he started singing at a folk song restaurant to earn extra money. He participated in Taiwan's singing talent show "University Town" and won the championship.

The record company came to him and planned to package him to release a record, but he declined because he wanted to become an original musician. After graduation, he worked for two years at Taiwan Black Pine Soda Drink Company. In 1990, Huang Guolun resigned from his job as a tour guide at Heisong Company, devoted himself to the creation of pop music, and officially entered the music industry. He made a four-year agreement with his parents and returned to the life of an office worker before completing his musical dream.
