Ayunga was born in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. When he was very young, he herded sheep and sang on the prairie of Inner Mongolia. Ayunga studied at the Beijing Dance Academy, majoring in musical theater.

After graduating from university, he was spotted by the drama director Tian Qinxin and served as the male lead in the original musical "Tianqiao" created and staged by the Beijing Opera and Dance Theatre; subsequently, Ayunga joined the Beijing Opera and Dance Theater Theater, becoming a musical theater actor.

When Ayunga was 3 years old, her father died of a heart attack. The only household appliance left behind was a tape recorder. Ayunga held it and listened to it for five years, and learned all Tengger's songs. When he was herding sheep alone, he loved running on the grassland humming songs. More than 300 sheep were Ayunga's audience. At that time, everyone called Ayunga the rock herdsman boy.

When Ayunga was 7 years old, his mother left him because of stomach cancer. Autistic, reticent, unable to learn, and considered a problem child. In desperation, his relatives sent him to a local art school.

After the death of his parents, Ayunga’s eldest brother raised him single-handedly. For the sake of his music dream, Ayunga wanted to give up his stable job and go to Beijing to make a living. He was opposed by many people and had always been strict. Instead of scolding him, the elder brother silently took out the borrowed 500 yuan and stuffed it into his hand.

After arriving in Beijing, Ayunga worked in a restaurant to earn tuition. He remitted half of his monthly salary of 2,000 yuan to his brother, and his brother kept the money for him. Later, his brother died of illness.
