You need to know these things to learn to read time signatures in music:
Time signature: 2/4, 3/4, 4/4
3/4: three Beat (XX)
2/4: two beats (XX), four-two beats (two beats per measure, with quarter notes as one beat).
4/4: Four beats (XXXX), four-four beats (four beats per measure, with quarter notes as one beat).
Beat: The regular pattern of strength and weakness in the rhythm. The strength and weakness of the sound appear in regular cycles (the same time segments with strong and weak sounds are repeated in a certain order), which is called beat.
Time: There are several beats in a section; the unit beat of the beat is represented by a fixed note, which is called the beat. For example, for a two-beat beat, if the unit beat is represented by a quarter note, it is called a 42 beat; if a unit beat is represented by an eighth note, it is called an 82 beat.
