The state attaches great importance to the protection of intangible cultural heritage. On May 2, 26, this heritage was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage lists.

A thousand years' vicissitudes bring forth wonderful flowers

The acrobatic art in Liaocheng has a very long history. According to Historical Records, acrobatics originated from Jiao Di, also known as Chiyou Opera. The legendary hero Chiyou, the earliest corner hero, lived in Liaocheng, and was first buried in Shouzhang, Liaocheng after his death. Cao Zhi used to be the king of Dong 'e, and his history shows that he is good at "hundred operas". There is a folk song in Dong 'e that goes around: "Happy horse racing can solve the big stick, jump the ball and circle the meteor whip, and walk along the river to ensure peace. Don't forget to worship Cao Zijian first." Therefore, the acrobatic circus in Liaocheng was quite famous at that time. Since then, Liaocheng folk acrobatics has flourished, and acrobatic artists such as Li Luyou (Li Banxian) and Zhang Yicheng (Zhang big braid) have emerged, which have an important influence on modern acrobatic art in China.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Liaocheng Acrobatics has developed by leaps and bounds, and its mass base has become richer. Luzhuang, Zangzhuang, Hulutou in Dong 'e and Liucaiyuan in Shen County are all famous acrobatic villages. According to statistics, there are more than 1,2 artists working in acrobatic troupes in many provinces and cities in Dong 'e County alone. Acrobatics artists who are originally from Liaocheng or who are related to artists in Liaocheng area are almost all over the country.

Old operas are constantly showing new features

At the training base of Liaocheng Acrobatic Troupe, we saw a large number of stills of different periods and different programs, and vivid pictures reflected the "persistence" and "change" of Liaocheng Acrobatics. Wang Guangming, head of the troupe, said that acrobatic art has changed from a simple skill performance to a comprehensive art that combines skill performance with dance, music and costume art. Acrobatic Troupe should adapt to this change, only program innovation.

The traditional program "Flying Fork" used to dance forks on the ground. They arranged it as an actor and actress dancing on seven 1.8-meter-high iron piles, which was innovative and had new breakthroughs in skills and performance forms. Plum Blossom Pile Flying Fork won the Silver Lion Award at the 3rd Wuqiao International Acrobatic Art Festival, and then won the Innovation Award of the Ministry of Culture, and participated in the 45th National Day performance.

"Little Cooker" is a childlike program. In the past, it was just pots and bowls that were quickly passed around among several young actors. The style was simple. After careful adaptation, under the beautiful lights, the actors danced the discs in a random way, which made the audience beautiful. This program won the silver award issued by the Ministry of Culture in one fell swoop.

In p>1999, the Ministry of Culture awarded Liaocheng Acrobatic Troupe the honorary title of "National Advanced Collective of Cultural Work". In recent years, they have made greater efforts to build a team and explore the market, and performed more than 6 times a year. Among them, many of their programs have won national and provincial awards and have performed in more than 3 countries and regions around the world.

Educate new people to break new ground

There is a saying in acrobatic circles that it is a national acrobatic show. Acrobatics programs don't change in time, and over time, of course, the audience won't want to watch them any more. Wang Guangming believes that in order to produce more new programs, it is necessary to train more new people.

in order to cultivate new people, Liaocheng launched the initiative of "singing tour games on cultural platform", which created opportunities for acrobatics. The government invested nearly 1 million yuan to build an acrobatic training base of more than 3,8 square meters. The opening of the "digital theater" in the base also provided hardware support for acrobatics innovation and development. Liaocheng Acrobatic Troupe jointly runs a school. This year, more than 4 new students from all over the world entered the Acrobatic Art School, and systematically studied acrobatic major, culture, music and dance knowledge in five years, bringing hope to the development of Liaocheng Acrobatics.

on March 1th, 1959, Liaocheng Volkswagen published a message that "the first acrobatic circus report performance conference in Shandong province will open in Liaocheng tomorrow", and at the same time published an editorial to welcome and congratulate the performance.

on March 19th, 1959, Liaocheng Volkswagen reported the news of the closing of the performance with a full page, and the newspaper of that day had two pages.

Why did an acrobatic performance make the organ newspaper of Liaocheng prefectural party committee at that time report in such a large space? On the 19th, the former head of Liaocheng Acrobatic Troupe told the reporter the story behind it.
