The life of Fan Saisai

Fan Saisai is a well-known young guzheng player in China. When he was young, he won the highest award in the Zhejiang Provincial Children's Folk Music Guzheng Grand Prix many times.

In 2005, he became a student of Professor Fan Yifeng from Xi’an Conservatory of Music, a famous guzheng player and educator. In the same year, he was admitted to the junior high school of the High School Affiliated to Xi'an Conservatory of Music with the first place in his major. In 2007, he was successfully promoted to the high school. While in school, she ranked first in professional scores for many years. She was a soloist in the special concerts of the attached middle school - "Sound of Spring" and "Rhyme of Autumn".

Won the gold medal in the first Shaanxi Provincial Instrumental Music Competition in October 2008.

In February 2009, he won the gold medal in the middle school category in the National Youth Television Talent Show. On the evening of June 3, 2009, the Affiliated Middle School held a special concert for students to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Xi'an Conservatory of Music. This concert was performed as a guzheng soloist. Director Zhao Jiping watched the entire performance and spoke highly of it.

Fan Saisai participated in many large-scale theatrical performances in school activities. During her studies, she practiced piano diligently and won the title of "Skills Training Model" for consecutive years. And won unanimous praise from hospital leaders and experts.

In 2010, he studied under Ji Wei, a famous guzheng player and educator at the Central Conservatory of Music.

In 2011, he was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music with excellent results. He continued to study with Ji Wei and began higher-level in-depth studies.

In 2011, he won the gold medal in the professional youth group in the guzheng competition of the Second Beijing Guzheng Music Festival National Instrument Competition.

In 2011, Harrow School in the UK gave a demonstration performance on the podium at the Summer Camp competition held in China.

In July 2012, he won the bronze medal in Group A of the plucked plucked music category of the 3rd "Golden Lusheng" Chinese National Instrumental Music Competition.

In August 2012, he won the gold medal in guzheng performance in the art professional group of colleges and universities at the 4th International Chinese Arts Festival (Singapore) International Chinese National Instrumental Music Competition.

In 2013, he participated in the China Youth Traditional Orchestra's New Year's Concert in Shandong and served as the band's guzheng principal. The famous conductor and composer Professor Wang Fujian served as the concert conductor. The performance received unanimous praise.

In 2013, he won the gold medal in the professional youth category of the second American "Huayin Cup" Chinese Music International Competition and the overall champion of the professional youth category in all folk music categories.

Participated in a series of weekend activities at the U.S. Embassy in China in September 2013.
