The Wave of Gulangyu is a musical work composed by famous composer Zhong Limin and written by Zhang Li and Hong Shu in 1981. It was first sung by famous singer Li Guangxi in 1982 and sung by soprano Zhang Baomo at CCTV Spring Festival Gala in 1984. After years of singing, it has become a brand song in Xiamen.

The theme background music of Xiamen Airlines' flights is the famous Gulangyu Wave. There is a musical sculpture of the same name on the road around Xiamen Island-Wave of Gulangyu Island, which is the "longest musical sculpture of staff" in the world at present, and it has been listed as the best in the Guinness World and one of the famous tourist attractions in Xiamen.
