Referee rules for competitive aerobics

The aerobics competition adopts a public display method. The referee's score is accurate to 0.1 points, and the athlete's score is accurate to 0.01 points. In the aerobics competition, the one with the highest score will be ranked first. If the scores are equal, the one with the highest artistic score will be ranked first.

1) Artistic Judge

1. Creation of complete sets of athletic movements, difficult movements, transitions/connections and lifting movements

2. Use of music

3. Combination of athletic movements (steps/arms)

4. Use of the playing field

● The full set of movements must use the playing field effectively.

● Must show movement routes in various directions such as forward, backward, left, right, arc, diagonal, etc., and the formation must change no less than 5 times.

● Must demonstrate use of all three spaces (including ground, standing, and air).

5. Expressiveness and cooperation with partners

●There should be at least 2 communication and cooperation actions involving contact between partners.

The artistic score of 10.0 points is divided equally according to the above 5 items, with 2 points for each item, in increments of 0.1.

2) Finishing Referee

● Technical Skill: The ability to complete a move with maximum accuracy.

◆ Body posture: The ability to maintain correct body posture when completing difficult movements, complex aerobics steps, movement combinations and transitions.

◆ Accuracy: accurate start, perfect control and proper balance.

◆ Strength, power and muscular endurance.

● In Time and Consistency

◆ In Time is the ability to move in sync with music and beats.

◆ Consistency refers to the ability of athletes to complete actions uniformly in collective events.

Completion will be graded by deducting points, starting from 10 points. 0.1 points are deducted for small errors, 0.2 points are deducted for medium errors, 0.3 points are deducted for major errors, 0.4 points are deducted for serious errors, and 0.5 points are deducted for errors.

3) Difficulty Judge

◆ Score the 12 difficulties that appear in a set, and deduct points for difficulties that exceed the difficulty requirements.

◆ All the difficulty points obtained are added together and then divided by 2 to get the difficulty score.

◆ All difficulty deduction points added together and divided by 2 will be counted as the difficulty judge’s deduction points.

4) Sightskeepers

The sightskeepers sitting in the two opposite corners will judge whether it is out of bounds. -0.1 points for each out-of-bounds attempt.

◆ Each referee is responsible for two sidelines. The 5cm wide mark is part of the playing field, so no points will be deducted for touching the line.

◆ Points will be deducted if any part of the body touches the ground outside the line. No points will be deducted for limbs in the air.

5) Chief Referee

◆ 1.0 points for illegal actions

◆ 1.0 points for each lift less than or more than 3 times

◆ 1.0 points for exceeding the standing height of two people in three-person and group events

◆ 0.5 points for every 2-10 seconds of performance interruption

◆ 0 points for stoppage of action

◆ Time deviation of 0.5 points

◆ Failure to appear within 20 seconds: 0.5 points

◆ Abstention and disqualification

◆ Competition area performance: 0.5 points

◆ 0.2 points for incorrect attire

◆ 0.2 points for dropped objects or scattered clothing

◆ Up to 0.5 points for poor music quality

◆ Warning for not wearing home country uniforms

◆ Failure to wear competition uniforms during the award ceremony will result in disqualification

◆ Violation of the Olympic spirit and morals 2.0 points

◆ Serious violation of the International Sports Federation's Articles of Association, Technical Regulations and Scoring rules and disqualification

IV. Other related content

1 Illegal movements

◆ All movements around the sagittal axis and frontal axis. For example: somersaults, rolls and cartwheels.

◆ All movements in which the body is supported by the hands and the body is in a straight line, and all movements are above 30 degrees above the horizontal plane.

◆ Use movements that are completely contrary to the natural direction of force. For example: bending the body backward, bending the waist, turning the knees, kneeling up and raising the legs after lying on the back.

◆ Any circus acrobatic work.

◆ Tossing and catching is prohibited.

2 Special circumstances

◆ The wrong music tape is played.

◆ Music problems due to audio equipment.

◆ Interference caused by equipment problems - lighting, stage, venue.

◆ Any other foreign objects entering the playing field.

◆ Waiver caused by special circumstances beyond the athlete’s responsibility.

When encountering any of the above special circumstances, athletes should immediately stop performing actions. Protests made after the completion of a set of actions will not be accepted. Problems outside the above situations will be resolved by the senior referee team according to the situation. The decision of the Senior Referee Panel is final.
