The steps of creating music control function with PPT are as follows:
First, open your PPT software, find the Insert tab, click the Sound button in Media Clip, and select the Sound in File from the drop-down menu. Then, select a music file, and make sure that it is set to "Play across slides" in the Sound Tool, so that the music can continue to play as the presentation progresses.
Next, insert three shapes with the Shape function, which are marked as Play, Pause and Stop. Click each trumpet shape, enter the Animation tab, and select Custom Animation to associate the music with the corresponding shape. For the "Play" button, click "Add Effect" and select "Play" in "Sound Operation".
in order to control music by clicking buttons, the animation effect of each button is timed. In the Play Sound dialog box, select the trigger as Start Effect when clicking the following object, and then associate it with the corresponding Play, Pause or Stop button. Finally, click "OK" to complete the setting.
repeat the above steps, set corresponding triggers for the "pause" and "stop" buttons, and your PPT will have music control function. Users can control music playing, pause and stop by clicking these buttons. Now, you can start to create your dynamic demonstration.
