Action suggestions
Sections 1-12: The teacher plays the role of "mountain dog" and invites the children to dance. The children make sleeping movements. When invited, they wake up and refuse ( Waving hands) and saying: "No!"
Sections 13-16: The teacher returns to his seat and invites the children to search for treasures, and all the children do the motion of getting up (the teacher gives the order: "Go treasure hunting").
Sections 17-32: Do the movements of moving the mud in the first 2 sections, and the movements of sticking the mud in the last 2 sections. Alternate 4 times. (Teacher’s instructions: Live in the mud, disguise yourself!)
Sections 33-48: Walk in the first 2 sections, and do the "look left, look right" movement in the last 2 sections.
Sections 51-56: The action of "listen left - down, listen right - down" (switched every 3 measures).
Sections 57-60: Make "listening" movements with both hands. (Waiting for instructions)
Ending: Introducing situations (the wasp is coming, the bear is coming, the skunk king farts), the children respond accordingly: staying in place, making a wooden person, and fainting on the ground, without moving.
Suggestions on how to play the game
This game is a reaction game with uncertain results. It is recommended to add game elements one by one, starting from "The Wasp is Coming" with the children running up; after playing the game 2-3 times , then introduce the "Here Comes the Bear" children to make wooden figures, and the teacher guides the children to diversify the shapes; finally, after collectively discussing the action modeling of "Fainting
", they play the game as a whole. From "The bear is coming" to "The skunk farts" to "The wasp is coming".
2. Suggestions for teaching activities
Activity goals
1. Listen to the music and try to perform the basic plot of the story "Coyote and the Skunk" one by one. Treasure hunt.
2. Try to make corresponding movements in the changing situation of bees and bears: quickly return to position, stop and pose.
3. Initial experience of the humor of performances in changing story situations.
Activity process
1. Story introduction, lead to activities
Teacher: King Skunk is hungry, so he asks the mountain dog to go to the village at the foot of the mountain to find small animals. Come and eat. The mountain dog said, "Come dance with me." The little animals were unwilling, "Then let's go treasure hunting?" When the little animals heard this, they all said, "Yeah," and they all cheered and went. But the treasure is guarded by robbers
We have to cover ourselves with mud to prevent the robbers from finding us.
2. Teachers and children work together to extract actions from the storyline.
Teacher: Let’s try.
3. Perceive the complete music with movements.
(l) Children collectively perceive music on their seats.
Teacher: After we cover our bodies with mud, we can go treasure hunting!
Teacher: Before the treasure hunt, the little animals had a good sleep.
(2) Children perceive music collectively.
Teacher: We didn’t find the treasure just now. This time, we have to try on a different hill. The little animals rest first.
Teacher: There seems to be a situation, don’t move! I'll come and take a look.
Teacher: Ah! The bees are coming!
Teachers and children ran back to their seats holding their heads in their hands.
3. Feel the changes in the situation and enjoy the game completely.
(1) Discuss the behavior of small animals in the situation where the bear is coming.
Teacher: The bees are coming, what should we do? The bear is coming, what should we do?
(2) Leading out the Skunk King
Teacher: Oops, I smell a stink. Could it be the Skunk King farting? Oops, it stinks so bad that I can’t even cover it. Oops, I can’t stand it (spit). Oh my God, why does it stink so much? I really can’t stand it. I’m dizzy from the stench!
Discuss the "fainting" movement as a group and practice together.
4. Ending
Teacher: Is it real death or fake death? If he fakes his death, I will take him back to the king and eat him! Oops, Your Majesty, these little animals are too smelly to eat! It seems that I have to go to another village to cheat.
...Ouch! The wasp is coming!
