Abdullah was born in an ordinary Uyghur family in Bachu County, Xinjiang. His father is a well-known local singer. He often sings for local people. Abdullah was deeply influenced by his father and loved singing when he was 4 or 5 years old. However, when Abdullah was most eager to sing, he caught up with the Cultural Revolution. Ten years of catastrophe caused Abdullah's father to suffer a lot, and the "red" wave almost destroyed Xinjiang's local music. Abdullah's singing also quietly stopped.
After the Cultural Revolution, Abdullah was already a big child. At this time, "The Story of the Red Lantern" was also adapted and translated into Uyghur and put on the stage in Bachu County. From that time on, 6-year-old Abdullah began to truly fall in love with comedy and the stage.
From then on, Abdullah began to make a name for himself in music and stage performances, and won awards in numerous competitions inside and outside school. After four years of systematic study at the Xinjiang Art Institute, Abdullah decided to embark on the path of music creation. He and several friends planned to release his first Uyghur album.
At that time, it was not easy to come up with an album. Only a singer with a certain reputation could release an album. Abdullah, who had just started working, naturally did not get the opportunity to release an album, but he did not give up because of this. Instead, he selected 12 songs with a few friends and spent a month recording a tape. This became the first "album" released by Abdullah's music career.
No one expected that in such a delivery, this "album" would be spread all over the north and south of the Tianshan Mountains. From the black tape circulating underground to the formal distribution channel, this process only took half a year. In Abdullah's 18-year career, he has released more than 10 solo albums, and every time his album is released, it is sold out by his fans who love him. Among them, the most widely sung song by the Uyghur people is called "Our Song" and it has become Abdullah's famous work.
Abdullah has been actively absorbing the essence of local regional culture in his music creation process. He combines ancient Uyghur national music elements with modern electronic instruments, and successfully combines the almost endangered Uyghur music elements with modern electronic instruments. Native music has been given new life.
Dolan Muqam was basically on the verge of extinction in the late 1980s. Abdullah, who was born in Bachu County, Kashgar Prefecture, the hometown of Dolan Muqam, was deeply influenced by Dolan Muqam in his music style. . As a descendant of the Daolang people, Abdullah has been exploring the convergence between the classical Daolang Muqam and pop music. His pop music can touch on the musical elements of Daolang Muqam. Continuously bring this ancient art to the stage and give it a new era flavor, so that more people know and love this ancient art form.
Abdullah has released more than 10 Uyghur music albums. In November 2006, he released his first Mandarin album "Love Has Turned to Ash" to be released nationwide. So far, due to high market demand, the publisher has reprinted the album three times.
Abdullah is such a Daolang successor who loves singing and expresses his love for Xinjiang through singing, and will continue to inherit and innovate the music of the Western Regions with great care.
