Music composition of Xiang Opera Chen Sanwuniang:

1. Gezi Opera "Chen Sanwuniang" is one of the four major traditional Gezi operas and is widely sung on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Regarding the spread of "Chen Sanwuniang" in Taiwan, based on the existing data, the narrative method of the story, the processing of music and tunes and the performance form of the Taiwanese opera "Chen Sanwuniang" are basically the same.

2. There are changes, mainly due to differences in versions, additions and subtractions of story content, similar plots, and changes in individual tunes. Then, in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, the mainland's "Chen San Wuniang" had three performance styles: rap singers, Taiwanese singing troupes, and Hokkien troupes (Shao Jianghai's version). The spread and changes of "San Wu Niang" have become more complicated.
