How to evaluate the film Psychological Crime objectively?

Up to now, there are two movie versions of Psychological Crime, one starring Yifeng Li and Liao Fan, and the other starring Deng Chao and Ehan Juan. The gimmicks of both films are very attractive. No matter in the description of criminal details or criminal psychology, both films can be described as China's suspense films, which are passable, and both can reach the passing line. Although the characters in the two plays are the same, the movies are very different in depicting the characters' plots and stories because of the different age stages of the characters. Let's put aside the older version of Fang Mu played by Deng Chao. This time, we will focus on this version of Psychological Crime by Yifeng Li and Liao Fan.

This edition of Psychological Crime still runs through the main story with the idea of criminal profiler Fang Mu. It is adapted from the story "The Portrait of Psychological Crime", the first novel of the same name. The film tells the story that Fang Mu, who has amazing talent in criminal psychology, was always uneasy about life and responsibility before his girlfriend was killed. Later, he began to realize the responsibility of the police and the meaning of life in his partner with police Tai Wei and forensic doctor Qiao Lan. In the end, in the confusing case of "human blood drink", the two men joined hands to solve the mystery, bid farewell to the gloom in their hearts, and bring the psychologically distorted crimes to justice.

besides the script, whether a film is good or not has a great relationship with the actors' acting skills. The captain of the criminal police team played by Liao Fan, the actor of Taiwei, is a "violent" policeman. Although he is capable and just, he has been nervous and has personality disorder because he witnessed the murder in his childhood. He won the Best Actor Award at the Berlin Film Festival for his role as a policeman in White Fireworks. This time, his interpretation of the role of Tai Wei can be described as steady and refined. Through an eye-lifting detail, the disdain for Fang Mu's assistance in committing crimes is very real.

As the most important presence in this film, Fang Mu, Yifeng Li's acting skills have made great progress compared with previous facial paralysis performances. Because the role was changed to orphan setting, and Fang Mu was the only survivor of a serial murder case two years ago, all these made Yifeng Li deduce the aloof, indifferent and even morbid persistence of the wood under this plot through body movements and expressions. Although the acting is not particularly mature because of Liao Fan, there are many surprises, such as the crying scene when portraying the prisoner's image after his girlfriend's death. Compared with himself, it can be called the moment when the acting is bursting, and the guilt of his girlfriend, the unwillingness of the prisoner's profile mistakes and the sadness that almost overflows into his body are almost perfect.

Although the film has reached the passing line, it is only the passing line. Leaving aside the later scenes of the actors' acting, the whole film has some problems in character setting. As a lonely and even extremely indifferent criminal psychology student, Fang Mu, as a more sensitive and lonely PTSD victim, can wear colorful printed coats and change tricks every day, which is interesting but unreasonable. Then, when Fang Mu and others saw the first body, they didn't have any tools, or even if you looked at it carefully for a while, they just glanced at Barabara's profile of a bunch of prisoners. I just want to ask if you are a fairy, what are your eyes made of, and there are different settings from ordinary people. Even if you want to highlight Fang Mu's talent, don't be so fake.

Secondly, there is a big problem in the arrangement of characters. female forensic played by Wan Qian is simply a dispensable existence. Is her appearance in a big way to enrich the picture of the film without a capable female role? The whole character is redundant, and it has no emotional involvement with the protagonist, nor does it play a role in promoting or foreshadowing the story. I really don't understand what the screenwriter wants.

A suspense detective program like this is afraid of digging a big hole, but the person who fills the hole takes the IQ of the audience for granted. This film can't be said to be bad, and it can't be given too high a reward. When a good film is carefully watched, it should be disappointing, but it can still be used for reference.
