1. Two basic methods of meditation
The methods of meditation are endless. No matter in any field and at any time, there is a way to calm yourself down.
p>
These methods can generally be classified into two categories, one is upward and the other is inward, and ultimately can be simplified into two basic methods.
The first method : I feel that there is a white lotus flower above my head, one elbow high.
When you feel like this, there is a "moment" where you suddenly feel different from usual. That moment is a moment of peace of mind. Then use this method to extend the moment of calmness. Extend it every day until you can have such calmness throughout the day. Because this method is very fast, when you feel the lotus flower on your head for a long time, you may experience swelling, numbness, slight pain, etc. These are normal and are signs of progress. The characteristic of this method is to let the energy move upward. When the energy moves upward, the mind will naturally calm down. If you don't like to use a lotus, you can use any flower, or no flower at all, and focus directly on the void above, or it doesn't have to be "one cubit high", as long as it's off the top of your head, any height will do.
When you feel the top of your head once, you will feel the peace of mind once. If you feel it twice, you will feel the peace of mind twice. If you feel it many times, finally let these feelings be connected together to form a line. .
The second method: Feel that your body is like an empty bamboo.
Focus your attention on your body and feel that your body is like an empty bamboo. It feels empty inside. While feeling, there is suddenly a moment that is a little strange from usual times (when there is no feeling). This "different" and strange moment is a moment of tranquility. Similarly, bamboo is secondary. You can feel like you are a transparent bottle, or any other hollow object you like can be used for guidance. Once you're in, keep it, do your best to keep it there, and if you can't keep it, get in the same way again. As long as you can enter this moment, and then extend this moment to the whole day.
The first method is relatively easy. After you are proficient in the first method, you can definitely enter the second method. If you can't do it with your eyes open, close your eyes. Whatever feels easier to you, use that easy way.
The Breathing Powa Method
The most basic one is to take a deep breath. When inhaling, feel the air pouring in from the center of the head, all the way to the lower abdomen (or the whole body). (full, empty), when exhaling, feel the Qi going out from the Brahma point in the middle of the head...
Or continue to extend this method, when inhaling, feel the Qi filling the whole body and reaching the heels (breathe to the heels), exhale When breathing, feel the air reaching the sky above your head, one cubit high into the void, turning into a lotus, or reaching above the lotus... The form can be different, the direction and purpose are the same.
If during this practice, you feel tranquility, joy, or as if you jumped out of your body (as if you were able to observe your body), rest in this feeling of tranquility, joy, or emptiness...
The way to transcend all worries: Be a bystander
Try this exercise to become a bystander of your body, mind and emotions.
When you can be a bystander of the body, you can transcend the body, and you can transcend all the troubles caused by the body, such as diseases.
When you can be a spectator of your thoughts, you can transcend your thoughts. All the troubles caused by your thoughts will be transcended, and any mental illness will be cured.
When you are a bystander of emotions, you can transcend them. You will no longer have any worries, and any melancholy, loneliness, and sadness will no longer belong to you. And only joy and happiness remain.
How to observe your body? Looking at my own body... for a moment, I feel like it suddenly jumped out, just like looking at someone else's body. Stay in this feeling, keep looking... and gradually become farther and farther away from your body. Everything that happens in the body seems to have nothing to do with you, continue to watch...
Look at your thoughts, watch them come and go like floating clouds... It comes and goes, follow it. , let it go. Watching yourself dream is like watching a movie. Everything in the movie no longer belongs to you, and you are just a spectator.
Look at your emotions and feel how they affect and permeate your body. You can even let this emotion permeate the whole body, permeate the void. When it permeates like this, the emotion seems to be gone and you can't find it. Even if you feel it, you can't find its image, and it can no longer hurt you. you. If it is joy, you can enjoy it; if it is sadness, stay separate from it.
When you look at it, you leave it. Just like a mirror cannot reflect itself, a mirror cannot see itself, so everything you see is outside the mirror.
When you watch everything, you have jumped out. Everything you see no longer belongs to you, because it has become everything in the outside world.
This is the way to transcend all troubles. This is a wonderful method. If someone experiences this method, the whole world will celebrate it... Because when you watch this world, this world has also been transcended...
Just watch like this Watching... watching the body, watching the thoughts, watching the emotions, watching the world, watching life and death, watching "watching"...
The specific method of deep breathing
Take a deep breath ( Or called abdominal breathing) is basically a necessary method for all psychological patients. Because all psychological problems originate from stress. Only when you take a deep breath are you not nervous. From a critical point of view, people who are not taking deep breaths are already sick, and this problem should not be solved until they are suffocated.
So deep breathing is very necessary, not only for patients, but also for psychiatrists.
The correct way to take deep breaths is to bulge your lower abdomen when you inhale and relax naturally when you exhale. Breathe according to this rhythm. Apart from this, the so-called other ways of breathing are not as good as this.
There are some very nervous people who do not know how to take deep breaths, so you can put your hands on your lower abdomen and press it gently, and then you can clearly feel the lower abdomen rising and falling. It's easy to learn to breathe deeply this way. When taking a deep breath, don't move your shoulders. When your shoulders are particularly hard, that may just be wrong. It's just a strain on the lower abdomen. This will be very relaxing.
Babies breathe deeply. If we observe carefully, we will find that the baby's breathing is the rise and fall of the belly. The baby is not nervous, because the baby has the quality of trust and leaves everything to its parents. When babies cry, they also take deep breaths. Just as Taoist Laozi and Zhuangzi advocated, we must return to simplicity and learn to live like a baby, so start with breathing like this.
When a child grows up and its parents start scolding and beating it, it begins to change its deep breathing into shallow chest breathing. And it was from this point on that the first psychological problems appeared - tension and fear. All psychological problems originate from here.
Abdominal breathing is a sign of relaxation and is also the best way to resolve tension. Deep breathing can treat most psychological problems and most chronic physical diseases.
After learning abdominal breathing, gradually practice it and let yourself breathe like this 24 hours a day. If you live like this, life will be meaningful and happiness will become easier and easier.
The perfect deep breathing method is like this. When you inhale, your lower abdomen will swell, and at the same time, your whole body will feel like a balloon. It is empty inside and your whole body will seem to swell. When you exhale, relax naturally. , feeling empty in the body, as if everything has been exhaled... When this feeling appears, if you continue to breathe like this, this person's life will reach sublimation.
(This method should be adhered to for life. Generally, if you persist for more than three months, there will be great changes)
Simply let go of the method
For beginners, If you are not accustomed to the method of letting go, you really have no way to start, so you will not have this thought, thinking that you will let it go, or return your mind to your body, guard your orifices and Dantian, cling to your essence, energy, and spirit, and think that you have attained the nature of concentration, all of which are not the right path. Here is a simple method, but there are prerequisites. Practitioners must pay attention to:?
When using this skill, you must not be greedy at all. If you seek the power too quickly, you will be focused on it, but you will not be able to concentrate. ?
Two, when using this skill, you should be quick, use it when you are told to use it, throw it away when you are told to throw it away, and do nothing, so that you will not be bound by the law. ?
When you use this skill three times, you know that it is a temporary borrowing, and it is the result of not paying attention, because fundamentally you have the intention to get rid of this, so that it will become invisible and return to emptiness. If you hold on to emptiness, you will This Dharma view cannot lead to emptiness and silence.
?
Fourth, when using this skill, you must not be lucky, but breathe as usual. Just let the mind float slightly in that place intentionally or unintentionally, and let it go after half a minute. ?
When using this skill five times, focus on short-term and diligent practice. Do it at least ten times a day. After a hundred days, you can do it anywhere and don't forget it, but don't be greedy. ?
Sixth use of this skill, when you can never forget it, if you practice it further and there is no use for it, you have to give up this skill. First, don’t cling to it but make use of it. ?
Seven, do not teach this method lightly to careless and violent people, people who are competitive, and stupid people. You may teach half of it without explaining it completely. Those with such bad views will surely suffer from it themselves. Evil retribution can lead to heretics and destroy people's wisdom and life. This method is not used during meditation, but when you are busy or have nothing to do, so it is used to train the mind. ?
1. Shen. In the midst of a busy schedule, my body and mind suddenly sank together. If I didn't have this body, if I didn't have this mind, I would throw everything away. It only takes half a minute to pick it up again to deal with various things. ?
2. At this time, the sight, hearing, and awareness are clear, but there are no thoughts, and there is silence and no dwelling, which is letting go. ?
3. At this time, the mind is slightly floating in the Dantian, whether intentionally or unintentionally, and it does not matter if it is forgotten. The breathing goes in and out as usual. It is absolutely important not to let the Qi into the Dantian and become a heretic. ?
Four. You are not allowed to see the light or see the Buddha at this time. If you see something, it is a demonic view. If you don’t let it go, if you focus on seeing nothing, you will not let it go. Please refer to the second article. ?
5. This method can last up to one minute or half a minute. Give it up immediately and try again later. ?
6. This method should be performed at least ten times a day. There is no need to count the number of times, but please refer to the second article. ?
7. Write a lot of heavy characters on paper slips and post them everywhere in the room or on the desk in the office. When you see this word, do it once. However, do not use it when using other methods or when meditating. If you have any doubts about this method, don’t take it for granted. There are two ways to do this. One is not to create doubts on your own, and the other is to answer questions immediately when you write. ?
8. Send out great compassion every day, as a dedication, pray for world peace, for all sentient beings to eliminate disasters and prolong life, and finally achieve Buddhahood. ?
A simple method of meditation?
Wang Xianglu, layman?
The long summer brings sultry troubles. When things are upside down and there is no solution, use a hyphen: (shoot) Let go of your body and mind at the moment! Just like wood and stone, I can't think of it (and I can't write this article), but I can see and hear it again. Look what is this? At this time, neither good nor evil is thought, and it is neither empty nor existing. If you do this for a minute, if you raise your mind to do things again, it will not hinder things, nor will it hinder time. Just this one moment, the benefits are indescribable. Why not do it all! Another example is when you are happy and happy, when your body and mind are happy and you are dancing, you might as well stop it. The benefits gained are indescribable. Why not do it all! Try it several times a day, and you will find yourself in a state of tranquility and tranquility for a long time. At that time, the original face will be naturally realized, and the three powers of concentration, wisdom, and emptiness will be naturally enlightened. I'm afraid you won't do it. If you can take some time out of your busy schedule, do it once, and master it once, you can meditate all the time, recite the Buddha's name all the time, and become one with each other. On the last day, I will be able to have clear righteous thoughts. The terror in my heart and the pain in my body are suddenly relieved. Because old debts have been paid off one after another. And can predict when the time will come. (There are already many people who have believed in me and won the battle.) People who have no long-term worries must have short-term worries. Those who are worried about the near future will be in front of their eyes in the blink of an eye. Only those who are virtuous, wise, and grieve for life and death will believe my words. But the pull of the personnel opposite you is too strong and can make you forget naturally. Therefore, we must be sad, recognize the true and false, and do not be fooled by vanity and miss the important events in life. You should always think about the last day: if it were to come before you, it would be terrible and terrible. Naturally, I woke up. It means to get out of the pit of fire. Ha ha! The word "fire pit". Who can believe it? Little did you know that what you are most proud of now will be the most painful thing in the future, and what else is there than a pit of fire? The Buddha said: "There is no peace in the three realms, just like a house on fire." If you just cut it off, you can suddenly wake up. The pit of fire is the green lotus. It's as simple as that. ?
If you can stop when you are scared, you will be calm and calm, and you will be inspired to use it. ?
Be able to stop being angry when you are angry, so that you will not be overly stimulated and blood will rush into your mind. ?
If you can stop it when you are suffering from illness, you can reduce the fever and recover quickly. ?
If you can stop being sad, you will be able to control your sorrow and your heart will not be exhausted. ?
Be able to stop at any time, gain the happiness of peace and tranquility, and realize one's nature and become a Buddha. ?
Look what is this? (You can take part in it at ordinary times. When taking pictures, if you can't think of it, it will become a delusion.)?
Face - there is no, and the vacuum is not empty. ?
Noble - supreme. In heaven and on earth, I am the only one who is supreme. ?
Reality - not nothing, wonderful existence but not existence.
?
Shape - immeasurable and boundless, pervading the Dharma Realm. ?
Noumenon - empty and pure, without birth and death. ?
Strange—everyone has it. Everything is ready-made, nothing ordinary or holy. ?
Usage - omnipotent. Everything is built from it. ?
Status - the master of everything. Therefore, she is the mother of Buddha. ?
Nature - pollution but not pollution after all. ?
Far and near - you can see it right now, but if you don’t see it, it will be thousands of miles away. ?
