Some music can make you miserable, and some music can make you completely desperate, just like wandering alone in the dark, never ending! Abruptum –《Obscuritatem Advoco Amplectere Me》[DSP; [1993] Chaos, nausea, evil, morbid, crazy, angry, hate ... Abruptum from Sweden exudes extreme evil that even the coldest black metal band can't compare. Abrutpum was composed of two Swedish lunatics in 199: IT (Weird Dwarf) and EVIL. Goblin –《Suspiria: Original Soundtrack》 [Cinevox reissue; 1977] 《Suspiria is the most famous work of Italian horror film master Dario Argento. This is a film with a very unique style, which is called the most elegant horror film in film history. An American girl came to a ballet school in Europe and was greeted by a series of murders. Italian masters' use of music, blurred light and lens has brought unprecedented new experience to the audience. Goblin's music can be said to be as scary as the movie. The twisted guitar, gloomy keyboard and spooky atmosphere all make the soundtrack of Suspiria as scary even without the movie screen. This soundtrack album has been favored by many metal fans, because it is even scarier than the scariest album of Black Sabbath or King Diamond. BBC Radiophonic Workshop –《BBC Sound Effects, Vol.13 – Death and Horror》 [BBC; [1977] This is a recorded work suggested and produced by Mike Harding in 1977. It is said that it is sound material for theaters or movies, but I doubt that any movie can use such a horrible sound! The first half of the album is called "Death Penalty and Torture: 1. beheading 2. cutting off the arm 3. sawing the head" and so on. Just looking at these names is scary enough. In the second half, there are sound sampling materials such as "monsters and animals" and "digging graves". This is an undisguised and naked horror, the purpose of which is to scare you into a cold sweat. Bright Death Now-"Great Test Death" [CMI 1998] Roger Karmanik is not only the owner of COLD MEAT INDUSTRY (CMI), but also the creator of the terrible industrial death band Bright Death Now. Bright Death Now is much more extreme than TG and other early industrial bands. It is a truly frightening band, a killing machine. Young people/mentally weak people should not approach it. Bright Death Now tries to show the audience the ugliest human heart with the thickest and most distorted noise. The music of Bright Death Now is a mixture of harsh noise and chaotic industrial sound/monotonous rhythm and distorted broadcasting. Sharp, cruel and full of blood, this is not what any traditional death band can show. Bright Death Now is really extreme, and the terror it brings is not "illusory". I think listening to BDN's works is a physiological reflection rather than a psychological aspect, which can directly lead to manic and schizophrenic attacks. Other musical ideas are keen to find a symbol for things, even if extreme, such as bloody death and black metal, death is also an image, and the display after a meaning makes the audience feel, while the early extreme TG,SPK,WHITEHOUSE, etc. all change their attitudes and actively look for intermediaries. Only Bright Death Now, its music itself is both a means and an end. Industrial death is not to explain to you the cruelty or beauty of death, but to directly harm the audience, which is itself a means of death. Letting you die is the only purpose. Therefore, other external packaging explanations are secondary. As long as you play it, the atrocities begin, so why should you listen? Diamonda Galas-"Schrei X" [Mute 1996] This is a pure vocal experiment, full of screams, screams and groans of Diamonda Galas. Those horrible sound fields will stab you in the defenseless chest. Don't regard enjoying Diamanda's music as a game for some brave people, which is very dangerous. Current93-"Dogs Blood Rising" [Laylah 1984] This is the scariest album of Current 93. Many works have processed Catholic carols as background sound effects, and the effect is extremely heretical and secretive, which makes people shudder. It's like an evil wizard is doing it. If you have heard of Current93, you may be able to describe it in many musical forms, such as GOTHIC, DEATH FOLK, EXPERIMENTAL and even RELIGIOUS MUSIC. But none of them can accurately express the ever-changing musical experience of David Tibet and his band. From the rough evil of DOGS BLOOD RISING to the sweet and beautiful of ALL THE PRETTY LITTLE HORSES. CURRENT 93 has been far away from the mainstream from the beginning.
