Campaign mode: The survivors must escape into the safe room and wait for rescue in the last level of the chapter.

Scavenger mode: Two teams of players play the roles of survivors and infected respectively. The infected must prevent the survivors from collecting fuel tanks, and the survivors must collect fuel tanks.

Confrontation mode: The survivors have to follow the battle routine, but are blocked by infected people played by players in the middle.

Survivors in the game

Similar to the original game, there are four survivor characters for players to choose from. Survivors have a health bar and can recover when they are hit by an infected person. Use the first aid kit to restore your stamina.

Including the black high school football "coach", the young boy Ellis, a car mechanic who loves mechanics, Nick and the only one who looks polite in a white suit but is actually a gambler and liar. Rochelle, a female survivor who loves music and is a junior production assistant on a local television news program. Players can choose one of the characters to play.
