The ceremony of offering sacrifices to Confucius is a kind of temple music and dance which mainly includes four forms: music, song, dance and ceremony. Music, singing and dancing are all carried out closely around etiquette, and all etiquette requirements are "abundant, clean, sincere and respectful". There is a saying that "listening to music and knowing morality, watching dance and being sincere, knowing etiquette and being benevolent, being upright and happy, and being neutral and nurturing", which has great cultural and artistic value since ancient times.
The most important agenda for offering sacrifices to Confucius is three gifts. The priest must dress himself and wash his hands before he can go to the Confucius incense table and bow. When bowing, the man should put his left hand in front and his right hand behind, and the woman should put her right hand in front and his left hand behind. The so-called three offerings are divided into initial offering, Asian offering and final offering.
The silk is yellow silk, and the silk refers to antique wine glasses. After the official dedicates the silk to the incense table, the priest reads out and dedicates the eulogy, and then all the participants bow five times to the statue of Confucius and recite the Praise of Confucius. Both the offering ceremony and the final ceremony are offering incense and wine. The ceremony is the same as the initial ceremony.
