1. "Love" is her inexhaustible motivation to climb bravely

1. She loves her children as much as her mother. Comrade Wu Shaoping chose the teaching profession because she likes children. She has been on the front line of early childhood education for 27 years, following the laws of education and the laws of children's physical and mental development, establishing scientific views on children, education, and teachers, treating children equally, making selfless contributions, and promoting the development of every child at different levels. She often said that children have the purest hearts and every child is the most beautiful flower. Teachers should love every child. Loving children is the core of education. Teachers should pour love into every child. Not only did she say it, she also did it. In 1983, when she first started working, there was a child named Xiao Kai (pseudonym) in her class. Because of her young age, she cried every day and refused to go to kindergarten. She would wake up from nightmares during her nap. She was like a loving mother. Every morning, the parents enthusiastically hug the children to divert their attention, and play games with them to enhance their relationship. During nap time, she would caress and accompany him until he fell asleep. Xiao Kai would often cry when he woke up, so she would hold him around the garden for a long time. In order to prevent the crying from affecting other children's naps, she would hold the child for a long time. Although her arms were sore, she never got bored until the baby fell asleep again. A full month passed like this, and Xiaokai was finally able to enter the kindergarten happily. At that time, there was a child named Xiaowen in her class. Her speech was unclear and her abilities were significantly lower than other children. Even the kindergarten leaders thought this child was "hopeless". However, she did not lose heart and always With full of hope, patient and careful guidance, close contact with parents, and a consistent education plan, Xiaowen reached the level of children of the same age three years later.

2. Love your garden more than your home. In the past 27 years, her work has never been affected by family reasons. In 1997, when the kindergarten was establishing Nanjing Municipal Demonstration Kindergarten, her father was hospitalized due to a car accident. During the day, she works diligently in the garden. At night, she stayed with her unconscious father in the hospital while reading and sorting out preschool education materials to prepare for the next day's work. Her father was hospitalized for nearly a year until his death, and she never took a single leave of absence. At work, she never cares about personal gains and losses, and never complains about being tired. On weekdays, I always get up early and stay late, arrive early and leave late. In her eyes, the kindergarten is better than her own home, and the construction of the kindergarten is more important than her home.

3. Love colleagues like sisters. Since there are many young people in the garden, as the leader of young people, Wu Shaoping always loves and cares for them in everything. When establishing a provincial model kindergarten in Jiangsu Province, young teachers worked overtime until late at night every day. For their safety, Wu Shaoping "beated" them one by one to send them home safely every day. Then, he went home.

During this period, Wu Shaoping was always the last one to come home at 1 or 2 o'clock in the night.

2. "Learning" is her eternal pursuit of hard work

Being studious and diligent is Wu Shaoping's beloved pursuit. She always believes that learning makes people move forward, and learning is the driving force and source of sustainable human development. She truly embodies the concept of lifelong learning. Over the past 27 years, she has never stopped studying. She has studied college, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses from a secondary school graduate, and paid nearly 10,000 yuan in tuition fees on her own. In order not to miss any learning opportunity, she always used her holidays to participate in various cutting-edge information trainings on educational research, and never took a complete break during the winter and summer vacations. During the summer vacation of 1999, she had just had an operation for hemorrhoids two days ago. When she learned that there was a national music psychology study program, she immediately went to study for seven consecutive days, which affected the recovery of the wound, and she went to the hospital for a second operation. After resting at home for 10 days, she went to participate in the national music education research training again. This time, in order not to affect the recovery of the wound, after listening to the report every day, she lay in pain on the bed in the dormitory until the end of the study. In peacetime, seize every moment and read widely. Put pressure on yourself and set your own reading plan, reading 10 magazines every month and reading 1-2 theoretical books every quarter. I collected and organized 30 information books and made many study notes. At present, she has read nearly a hundred theoretical books on education, psychology, management, parent work, curriculum theory, parent-child education, etc. Her extensive study has prompted her to grow rapidly and become a leader in this field, a smart kindergarten long.

3. “Research” is an important magic weapon for her to pioneer and innovate

During the Tenth Five-Year Plan, she independently applied for, took charge of, and completed the research on the project "Construction of Open Curriculum in Kindergarten" in Jiangsu Province's "Tenth Five-Year Plan" for Educational Science. Conduct comprehensive research to explore whether kindergartens need, whether and how to construct their own kindergarten-based curriculum from both theoretical and practical perspectives, focusing on refining and sublimating their rich practical experience from a theoretical perspective.

For the young teachers in the kindergarten, she pays more attention to teaching by words and deeds. In her daily work, she has good teacher ethics and rigorous work style. Not only do I listen to each teacher’s teaching activities after get off work, but I also give feedback and interact with them one by one after class. At the same time, I also give regular demonstration classes for all teachers in the park to observe. She guides young teachers strictly and meticulously. It provides guidance on both the overall theoretical framework and specific aspects of the operation process. Never miss every small teaching link. For example, the teaching aids are demonstrated and the sequence of retracting and retracting is guided one by one. Under her guidance, young teachers have grown rapidly. Under her leadership, every teacher has their own specialties and everyone is a backbone. Teachers in the garden are invited to give demonstration classes across the country and observe and study classes at various seminars across the country. These practices and experiences often attract colleagues from all over the country to study in the kindergarten. The kindergarten's running standards and advanced management methods are also regarded as a model for peers to learn from.

She attaches great importance to the exemplary role of special teachers and opens demonstration classes to district principals and city youth talents every school year. She gives multiple demonstration classes and lectures every semester. She also took on the task of guiding apprentices in urban areas, and she always tried her best to help and guide them.
