How about music affecting my writing?
Yu Hua is famous as a novelist. In fact, his essays are also very good. Even for me, those concise and clear words reveal my personal preferences and feelings, which makes me remember deeply. I have read the journey with mixed feelings, and I am envious of Yu Hua's reading experience and profound feelings. He clearly expressed the stories and experiences he read in concise words. Aren't those artistic, beautiful and warm experiences that our generation has been longing for? Writing about one's own experience can also be as kind and touching as a sketch, in which the flavor is quite romantic and chic as the ancient scholars know. Music has influenced my writing, and this topic reminds me of Nietzsche's admiration for music. In Nietzsche's mind, music does not appeal to human tongue and reason, but directly shows the spirit of the world to human beings through hearing and sensibility, which itself comes from immeasurable natural mystery. In Nietzsche's view, music is undoubtedly the art closest to truth. Yu Hua is listening to music, listening to the stories told by music and understanding the spirit, which shows Yu Hua's musical sensitivity and artistic talent. Sometimes, artists are closer to the truth than philosophers, although this statement is somewhat mystical. Yu Hua wrote his experience, but we read it, but we get another enjoyment. In this world, many people can feel good things, but very few can convey what they feel clearly and beautifully to others. This is the essence of artists. I have listened to European classical music, but it is hard to feel anything. However, in Yu Hua's narrative, I seem to be able to appreciate the beauty of some music from his feelings. This is not only a miracle of words, but also a great thing of Yu Hua.
