Qu Ge’s personal life

In 1985, he was admitted to the Vocal Music Department of Shenyang Conservatory of Music and studied under Professor Hu Jinghua. After graduating in 1989, he stayed in our college to teach in the music education department. In 1992, he was admitted to the teaching assistant training class of Shanghai Conservatory of Music and studied under Professor Zhou Xiaoyan. In 1995, he was transferred to the Vocal Music Department of Shenyang Conservatory of Music to teach. In 1997, he went to the Stuttgart Conservatory of Music in Germany to study under Professor Bruse Abel, specializing in the singing of German art songs. From 1998 to 2000, he was employed by the Royal Opera House of Belgium. During his stay in Europe, he participated in nearly 20 operas and various concert performances. At the end of 2000, he returned to continue teaching in the Vocal Music Department of Shenyang Conservatory of Music.

In 1993, he participated in the 10th Asian Opera Festival (South Korea) with the Chinese singer group led by Professor Zhou Xiaoyan; in 1994, he founded the Liaoning Youth Singing Art Center as one of the main founders and held many performances Solo and duet concerts; won the third prize in the first vocal music competition in Liaoning Province in 1995; participated in many large-scale evening performances on domestic TV stations as a soloist; held "Quge Student Solo and Ensemble Concerts" and the solo music of the students he taught meeting. Student Xing Like won the Excellence Award and Scholarship Award at the Alcamo International Vocal Competition in Italy in 2005.

Published papers include: "Interpretation of Schumann's Art Songs", "Interpretation of Schubert's Art Songs", etc. Translated and published the German piano textbook "My Hobby - Piano Performance" (cooperated with others and published by Liaoning People's Publishing House).
