My experience in participating in the gamification theme training of early childhood curriculum
On June 6, my colleagues and I came to zz City Senior High School and participated in the training on "Gamification of Curriculum" Activity. During this half-day study process, I learned a lot, learned a lot, and understood a lot; in short, I felt deeply and benefited a lot.
Through Professor Huang’s lectures and training, some problems in my daily teaching were raised. In fact, our children should return to games, grow and learn in games. In view of the actual teaching situation in our kindergarten, I would like to reflect on the following aspects.
Question 1: There are many misunderstandings about game teaching and teaching gamification; Question 2: Games are children’s own, and children should be allowed to return to games; Question 3: Correctly and quickly understand the relationship between teaching and teaching game relationship.
1. Game-based teaching, understanding and application of teaching gamification
Game-based teaching emphasizes the importance of games and reminds us to pay attention to games; teaching gamification means avoiding kindergarten teaching The school has a primary school-oriented tendency, paying attention to the age characteristics of children and allowing them to develop their personalities in relaxed and enjoyable activities. In teaching activities, ontological games, namely role games, structural games, and performance games, can be used; instrumental games, namely, sports games, music games, and intellectual games, can also be used. In teaching activities, games can be used at the beginning to attract children's attention and interest; games can also be used at the climax to allow children to deepen their experience and help them understand; games can also be used at the end to allow children to use their experience and Extend and expand. In short, games are used in different aspects of teaching activities, and their organizational strategies are also different.
2. The relationship between games and teaching and the various abilities that teachers should possess
The promotion of children’s development by games and teaching: the certainty and uncertainty of development, games have certain special development value. The effects of games and teaching on children's development: future effects and immediate effects; potential effects and apparent effects. Teaching allows children to directly acquire knowledge and skills, and games make children smart and wise. The two characteristics of the game are as follows: first, it emphasizes the process but not the result, and the second is transformation and substitution. Game-generated teaching—capture teaching opportunities in games—without interrupting the game. At this time, teachers must have three abilities: first, to accurately interpret the development level contained in children's game behavior; second, to judge the curriculum goals and the possibility of children's current development; third, to support the guidance mechanism based on children's behavioral wishes.
