The School of Continuing Education of Shenyang Conservatory of Music originated from the Night University opened in 1975. In 1998, the Social Education Center (Adult Education College) was established and renamed the Continuing Education College. After the internal organization adjustment of Shenyang Conservatory of Music, the Continuing Education College and the Social Education Center were established, responsible for adult academic education and non-academic education.
