Renodia’s stage name is (The Daydream), a New Age pianist of Chinese origin in Korea, and a musician with a mysterious style of life. It is said that he has never been exposed to the public (no wonder no media knows his real name). He has been learning to play the piano since he was 5 years old. He majored in modern art courses in college and is also quite active in writing poetry. His profound artistic accomplishment gives his music a special sense of beauty.
In February 2001, Daydream's piano solo album "Dream" was published in South Korea. In a short period of time, it defeated international stars such as Jennifer Lopez, New Good Boy, and Enya in the Korean market. The new album with other local Korean singers has entered the top four of the Korean TOWER RECORDS rankings, setting a new sales record for New Age Music in South Korea.
The music of Daydream is naturally reminiscent of George Winston, another famous pianist who also worked in the New Age field. Their performance and composition styles are quite unique. They have similarities, and they are both very good at using music to describe scenes, express emotions, construct artistic conception, and enhance the atmosphere.
