According to the study abroad inquiry in Russia, the Conservatory of Music of Yangzhou University has quotas for exchange students. In the fall semester of 2022, the school selected 15 outstanding students to study at three world-renowned music schools: the St. Petersburg State Conservatory of Music in Russia, the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music, and the Ukrainian Tchaikovsky State Conservatory of Music. At the same time, three music schools also sent three experts and scholars to the Conservatory of Music of Yangzhou University for exchange visits.

The School of Music of Yangzhou University is a secondary college under Yangzhou University. Its history of running schools can be traced back to 1985. The former Yangzhou Normal University took the lead in establishing an art teaching and research office to carry out public art education.
