Chang Shilei, born on July 21, 1981 in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, is a music composer and singer. He graduated from the Music Engineering Department of Shanghai Conservatory of Music.

In 2008, Chang Shilei became a core member of the music team for the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games. He impressed the chief director Zhang Yimou with a demo song and promoted "You and Me" to the Olympic stage.
