It’s fun to download songs, but it’s very tiring to sort out the massive amounts of music on your hard drive. A large amount of digital music overflows the hard drive and piles up like a grocery store. How to manage them? Don't worry, just use the powerful playlist function of Qianqianjingting 5.0 to help you classify music well. The most important thing is that it is so easy to operate.
1. Delete duplicate files
When your songs reach a certain number, removing duplicate songs is a headache. Even if these songs have the same name, they may have different names. Different suffix names, or located in different paths. How to quickly delete these duplicate songs?
First import all the songs into Qianqian's list. This can be achieved through Qianqian's "Add Folder" function. Remember to select the "Include subdirectories" option. If your songs are too scattered and not in one folder, simply choose to add the entire hard disk partition as the object. Believe me, Qianqian's efficiency will never let you down.
After all songs have been added, select "Sort by File Name" in the "Sort" command of the playlist.
In this way, you can see that files with the same file name (no matter what path they are scattered in) are arranged together. If you find duplicate songs, just select one to keep. Then our next task is to delete the other one.
How to delete another one? First, right-click on the main playback window, open "Qianqian Options", select the "Playlist" option, and uncheck the "Disable physical file deletion function".
In this way, we can get rid of duplicate files by selecting the songs in the playlist and clicking the "Physical Delete" command in the right-click menu.
Actually, there is an easier way to delete duplicate files, which is to just drag the files to be deleted in the list to the Recycle Bin.
2. Quickly classify songs
After you have downloaded a lot of songs, how do you quickly classify them into corresponding folders? Operation is just as easy. First, add all the songs to be classified to Qianqian's playlist, and create corresponding classification folders on the hard drive, such as: "Mainland Male Singer", "Hong Kong and Taiwan Female Singer", etc.
OK! The preparations are done, let’s start: We view the files to be classified in sequence in the list. When the label information such as its title, artist name and so on is incorrect, it can be adjusted through the "File Properties" command in the right-click menu. After adjusting it, you can directly drag it to the corresponding classification folder with the mouse. After dragging in this way, Qianqian will directly cut the files to the target folder for us.
After the above adjustments, the originally chaotic music has become more organized. The next time you want to find a certain song, you can do it easily and won't be at a loss.
