But musical literacy can indeed be cultivated, just like the cultivation of language sense, there can be strategies, steps and methods.

Just like language learning, the most effective way to improve musical literacy is to listen more. Starting from exposure to classic songs, I established a musical aesthetic from an early age. Initially, it starts with beautiful children's songs and rhymes, and the children learn to sing along with the lyrics; then they are exposed to classical music, such as Mozart's sonatas and Bach's minuets, which are most suitable because the soft, lively and cheerful sounds are in line with children's nature and characteristics. Don't be exposed to music with too strong emotions too early, such as heavy rock and roll.

Listen “with purpose.” Think while listening, combine listening with feeling, and combine listening with imagination. Use some specific adjectives to describe the music you hear, such as: gentle, slender, low, passionate, light... etc. The more specific the better. Don't just describe it in terms of strength, weakness, speed. The initial idea is as follows: group music literacy classes will be held every week as a supplement to one-on-one piano. The course is customized, designed and developed by me based on the current piano teaching content and combined with a variety of advanced music education methods.

Divided into two classes according to age:

Class A Sing and play! (suitable for kindergarten stages of 4-6 years old)

Class B I can see the music! (Suitable for ages 7 and above)
