Huang Mengla was born in Shanghai. She studied violin with Professor Zhang Xin, Professor Yu Lina, Professor Gyorgy Pauk and Professor Thomas Brandis, and graduated successively. at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, the Royal Academy of Music in the UK and the Lübeck Academy of Music in Germany. Huang Mengla has superb skills, stable psychological performance, and delicate emotional processing. His performance shows meticulous rigor and incorporates rich personal elements. The famous British magazine "Gramophone" praised "his talent is quickly becoming known to the world."

Huang Mengla has collaborated with many world-renowned symphony orchestras, including the Staatskapelle Dresden, the Bebanger Symphony Orchestra, the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, and the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra. , National Symphony Orchestra of Denmark, Basel Symphony Orchestra of Switzerland, Philharmonic Orchestra of Nice in France, Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, NHK Symphony Orchestra of Japan, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Kyoto Philharmonic Orchestra, Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra Orchestra, Sendai Symphony Orchestra, Beijing Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Mexican Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and Macau Orchestra, etc.

In October 2006, Huang Mengla was invited to perform for the Queen of Denmark at Firstenburg Palace in Denmark, and her performance was highly praised by members of the royal family.

In April 2007, Mengla Huang held her American premiere at Alice Toni Concert Hall at Lincoln Center in New York and Johnston Concert Hall in Boston. In December 2007, he served as a guest performer at the opening concert of the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing.

In May 2008, he held a recital at the prestigious "Prague Spring" Music Festival in the Czech Republic, becoming the first Chinese violinist invited to give a recital at this music festival.

In the 2009-2010 music season, he participated in more important performances, including the Paganini Music Festival in Taiwan, and toured China and Japan with the Basel Symphony Orchestra in Switzerland and the NHK Symphony Orchestra in Japan.

In 2011, Huang Mengla cooperated with another famous German orchestra, the Dresden Staatskapelle, and successfully toured China. And the tour with the Czech Philharmonic kicked off the 2011-2012 music season.

In March 2012, he toured Mexico with the Mexican National Symphony Orchestra, and in July 2012, he collaborated with the Dresden Staatskapelle in Germany, both of which achieved great success.

In 2013, the tour in China with the Wuttemberg Chamber Orchestra of Germany and the Prague Chamber Orchestra of the Czech Republic received unanimous praise. In 2013, a series of performances were also held in Japan and Italy.

Huang Mengla is currently an associate professor of violin in the Orchestral Department of Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Since 2011, he has also served as a distinguished professor in the master class of Ishikawa Music Academy in Japan.
