to install from the CD, set the BIOS so that the system can boot from the CD. The method is as follows:
(1) Start the computer, and when the prompt message of Press Del to Enter BIOS Setup is displayed on the screen, press the DEL key on the keyboard to enter the BIOS setup interface of the motherboard.
(2) select the Advanced BIOS Features option and press Enter to enter the setup program. Select the First Boot Device option, and then press the Page Up or Page Down key on the keyboard to set this option to CD-ROM, so that the system can be booted on CD instead.
(3) Return to the main menu and save the BIOS settings. (The saving method is: press F1, and then press Y)
(4) Then put the CD into the CD-ROM drive and restart the computer, and the system will boot from the CD-ROM and display the installation wizard interface. You can install and set it step by step according to the prompts.
After Windows XP copies files to the hard disk, before restarting the computer for the first time, you must remove the CD from the CD-ROM drive, otherwise the system will still start from the CD-ROM and will cycle through the installation program.
Method 2:
Then, press any key to enter the CD-ROM startup mode and load the Mini version of the operating system.
then, press Enter to confirm to continue the installation.
then, press F8 to accept the license agreement.
then, select the location where you want to install, select a space large enough, and press Enter.
then, select the file system, NTFS is recommended, and press Enter.
then, you will enter the disk scan and copy the installer to the hard disk.
then, the computer will restart after 15 seconds, and press Enter to restart immediately.
then, start from the hard disk to continue the installation process. At this time, the graphical interface mode is started.
after a series of hardware tests, you will enter the region selection prompt, where you can configure the language, keyboard and region.
then, you will be prompted to enter the user name and organization name, and a computer name will be generated, which you can change.
then, you will be prompted to enter the product registration code.
then, you will be prompted to enter the administrator password.
then, the component selection box will be displayed to select the Windows component you want to install.
then, you will enter the setting of time zone and time.
then, enter the networking component installation (if your computer has a network card and is correctly recognized during hardware testing).
after configuring the network, the computer will detect and install a series of Windows components and services.
then, restart and run the newly installed Windows.
then, enter the final stage of installation and monitor the plug-and-play hardware that was not detected before.
finally, you can use it!
Method 3:
Install the system (take WINDOWS XP as an example below)
I chose the complete Windows XP installation CD without any cracking. Start the computer, press enter when the words "press any key for CD startup" appear, start copying the installation program, and check the capacity and format of the system disk location, which can be ignored; What is the best time to choose the file format of the system hard disk? AT32, don't choose NTFS. Although NTFS file system has greatly improved the stability and speed of xx operating system and the hard disk management function, NTFS only supports Windows NT, Windows2 and WindowsXP with NT as the kernel, but does not support DOS, WindowsME and Windows98. Therefore, it is not suitable for those of us who often play software. Once the system crashes, it is possible to reinstall the system by means of repartitioning and formatting under NTFS. As long as the system is repartitioned, the data and data on the hard disk will be completely finished. (This is a lesson I have learned from countless losses. When I used Windows2, I adopted NTFS system, which was mainly used to prevent the CIH virus from damaging the system and hardware, but now it is too easy to prevent and kill CIH.) On the contrary, under the FAT32 file system, as long as there is a 98 or Me boot disk to format the C disk, I can reinstall the system, and I am not afraid of losing all the data and materials on the hard disk. (I won't talk about partition here, but I will talk about partition in the future, including the actual practice of FDISK and DM, which is a dangerous and troublesome thing.)
Then, copy the system files and prepare for installation. A dialog box for selecting time zone and language appears, so I don't need to say it. Wait patiently.
If XP is originally installed under DOS, you must first copy the smartdrv.exe file (named smartdrv.exe in the installation directory of Win98) into the 98 startup floppy disk, and run it before installation to greatly improve the installation speed. I sometimes run it before installation and sometimes forget it, but I don't feel much difference. Maybe my computer has a large memory? I can't say for sure)
If you re-install XP with the original system unchanged and xx as the system hard disk, the "Upgrade/New Installation" dialog box will appear during the installation process. At this time, you must choose to upgrade unless you want to install dual xx as the system on your computer.
when the serial number is required, enter the following number:
bx6t-mdjkw-h2j4x-bx67w-tvvfg
This registration code can basically be installed (I have tried at least 5 or 6 XP installation discs). Generally, the installation time does not exceed 6 minutes.
after installation, choose not to activate now, and then activate. press next, and fill in at least one name, such as JixXP, and press enter all the way, and that's all.
Now start to activate the system: I use the activation method of Russian hackers. See the following instructions for use:
Method: Copy the SETUPREG.HIV to the %systemroot%system32 directory
Overwrite the original file (I can't find this SETUPREG.HIV and paste it directly),
restart,
press F8 to enter the safe mode, log in as an administrator,
run WINXP_CRK.EXE
Western Electronics provides downloads
Needless to say. I only tell you one word: great! ! !
4. Necessary settings and installation of some drivers
(1) Enter the Control Panel (or right-click my computer and click Properties), open the System, select System Restore, and choose to turn off the restore function of all disks.
(2) In the System, click Advanced and reset the Error Report (if you don't turn off this option, there will always be an application form to complain to Bill Gates, which is annoying)
(3) The sound card, video card and cat driver XP of general notebook computers are all available, and they can basically be installed automatically. Let me focus on the desktop.
click control panel, click system, click hardware, click device manager, uninstall all items with question marks and exclamation marks, and click ok to close the system item.
Take out the driver disk you brought with you and put it in the CD-ROM drive; Click "Add Hardware" in the control panel again, and when the selection dialog box appears, if you know the directory and location of your driver, you can select it manually; If you don't know, select Automatic.
Sound cards, video cards and cat drivers are all the same. If you don't have a dedicated driver for XP, there are two ways to solve your problem. First, you can use the Win2k (that is, Windows2) driver of the plug-and-play device for installation. XP is the same as the kernel of 2K, and the driver is no different. During the installation process, there may be a dialog box without Microsoft signature. Ignore it and click "Yes" directly. If you don't even have a Win2k driver, there is only another way. First, find out the manufacturer and model of your equipment, and print the manufacturer and model on the general manual or on the board and card, and then go to the manufacturer's website from a computer with Internet access, select the model and download it directly. Then use floppy disk or USB flash drive or removable hard disk to transfer it to your computer for installation. The floppy disk has a small capacity, so I'm afraid it won't fit. )
(4) Display card settings
The display in the control panel, and other options can be selected according to your computer situation. The best pixel is 8× 6,32 true color. Click "Advanced" and click "Monitor". The screen refresh frequency is 75HZ or 85HZ for cathode ray tube display and 6HZ for liquid crystal display.
[5] setting up network connection
I won't talk about broadband settings, but just talk about dial-up internet settings.
click network connection in the control panel, click create a new connection, click connect Intelnet, click manual settings, click modem, and then add the name, such as * * *, telephone number, password and verification password. You can surf the internet.
[6] Sound Settings
Click Sound and Audio Devices in the control panel, select Put Volume Icon in the Taskbar, and click Apply; As for other options, you can set them according to the actual situation of your computer and your own hobbies.
5. Restore mailbox, account number and address book
Just follow the menu steps when exporting, and change the original "export" to "import" for xx. (Don't repeat it, hehe, if you can't do anti-xx, you are really stupid, so don't read this article.)
6. Restore the font
Open the backup font information, click directly if there is a restore program, or directly replace it if there is no one. I mainly aim at intelligent ABC and ziguang pinyin input method. I haven't used other input methods and I'm not familiar with them. You'd better study them yourself.
7. My document reset
Repeat the export steps, and just merge and link the two folders.
8. It is recommended that you install the following practical software on your computer:
① WinZip 8.1 (general compression software)
② Winrar 3.2 (the best compression software)
③ Microsoft Office XP (international general office system)
⑵ Acadsee 5. (graphic recognition software)
Kingsoft 23. Software)
[6] Kingsoft Internet Security 23 (the best domestic antivirus software)
[7] Winamp 2.8 (the best Mp3 music playback software)
[8] WindVD 4. (DVD and VCD audio and video playback software)
[9] FlashGet 1.4 (the best online download tool) < Generally, it can be downloaded from the Internet. Software such as Office XP, Kingsoft PowerWord, Kingsoft Internet Security, etc. is too big, so you'd better buy a CD and install it.
in addition, it is better to install a system optimization software. In the domestic system optimization software, Windows optimization master (Author: Lu Jin) and super rabbit magic setting (Author: Cai Xuan) are the first ones. WindowsXP itself is highly optimized, so it is of no practical significance to optimize the system. However, WindowsXP does not set the secondary cache of CPU, so you can optimize it with either of these two softwares. For example, the CPU secondary cache of my notebook is 256K K. I didn't reset it in the registry, but set it with rabbit magic.
9. finally, defragment the disk
open my computer, right-click c:, click properties, click tools, click start defragmentation, and finally click defragmentation, and then click ok after finishing defragmentation.
at this point, this installation is complete.
Method 4:
Installation of Windows XP
Windows XP has done an excellent job in upgrading and installing. There are also three installation methods: upgrading and installing, dual-system * * * storage installation and brand-new installation. We can successfully upgrade to Windows XP on the basis of the previous operating systems such as Windows 98/98 SE/Me/2. The core code of Windows XP is based on Windows 2, so it is very easy to upgrade and install from Windows 2.
let's introduce the installation of Windows XP.
1. Put the CD into the WINDOWS state to run automatically, ask if WINXP is installed, and select "Install Windows XP" with the mouse.
2. you can select "upgrade (recommended)" and "new installation (advanced)" in the checkbox. When the language versions are inconsistent, you can't use "upgrade", you can only install it newly. There is no system compatibility problem in the new installation.
3. accept the agreement and enter the registration code.
4. select install support for east Asian languages, including Chinese. Language selection "Chinese(PRC)".
5. click the "Advanced Options" option in step 5.
6. enter the installation source directory in the text box required by "copy installation files from this folder";
7. enter the installation destination directory in the text box required by "To this folder on my hard drive", and note that the destination directory does not have a drive letter. If you want to choose which drive letter to install on, check "I want to choose the install drive letter and partition during setup" below.
8. "copy all installation files from the setup CD" is to copy the files on the installation disk to the hard disk. When installing with CD, it generally does not copy the whole installation source file to the hard disk, but establishes a list of copied files at the time of installation, and presses the list.
