Introduction to the Chopin School of Music:

The Chopin School of Music (Akademia Muzyczna im. Fryderyka Chopina in Polish, The Frideric Chopin University of Music in English) is located in Warsaw, the capital and largest city of Poland. The school was founded in 1810 and is a music conservatory with a long history.

Nowadays, the Chopin Conservatory of Music offers professional courses in six fields: composition and music theory, conducting art, instrument research, vocal music research, music art art education, dance art and sound engineering. Approximately 150 students graduate from the school each year. The Chopin Conservatoire has seven departments, including composition. Department of Conducting and Music Theory, Department of Piano, Harpsichord and Organ, Department of Instrumental Studies, Department of Vocal Studies, Choral Conducting.

Departments of Music Education, Church Music, Rhythm and Dance, Department of Sound Engineering and Department of Instrumental Instruments and Educational Studies (located in Bia?ystok). The Chopin Conservatory of Music offers professional courses at undergraduate, master, doctoral, and postdoctoral levels, such as composition art, education, choral conducting art, sound engineering, string instrument performance, wind instrument performance, accordion performance, piano performance, accordion performance, etc.
