Troubleshooting steps:
1. Is mute set? Check whether the sound icon in the lower right corner of the computer is muted. If so, please click it and adjust the volume before trying.
2. If external headphones are connected, the sound from the headphones will be normal. Please restore BIOS default settings. How to restore BIOS default settings on ASUS notebooks:
Press F2 to enter the BIOS after booting, press F9 and enter to restore the BIOS default values ??(for the graphical interface BIOS, you need to press F7 first to enter advanced mode), press F10 and enter to save the settings and restart. .

3. If you connect an external headset, there will be no sound from the headset
Go to the ASUS official website support page to download the latest sound card driver for the corresponding model and reinstall it
4. If it occurs after updating the Windows system, you can try to roll back the sound card driver:
Right-click the Start menu to enter the Device Manager, double-click Sound Video and Game Controllers, double-click the sound device (usually Realtek High Definition Audio), select Rollback Driver, follow the prompts to complete and restart.
5. If the sound card driver cannot be installed or cannot be rolled back, you can choose to uninstall the device and follow the prompts to restart.
After restarting, you can try to connect to the Internet and use the driver automatically recognized by the system, or manually install the driver downloaded from the official website.
