Since then, the name of the Rectangular Wave Club has gradually disappeared from KONAMI’s VGM album... The KONAMI Rectangular Wave Club exists in name only.

In January 2003, as Ryuu Furukawa, one of the original members, withdrew from KONAMI, the KONAMI Rectangular Wave Club officially announced its dissolution. After Ryuya Furukawa quit KONAMI, he became a freelance musician.

In the past ten years, KONAMI Rectangular Wave Club has brought us countless classic melodies. Next year will be the 20th anniversary of the founding of KONAMI Rectangular Wave Club, so let’s take this opportunity to commemorate it... .
