Yang Yang, born in Shanghai on November 7, was the first Chinese dancer to go to the United States to further study jazz dance. He brought jazz dance to China and carried it forward, establishing Shanghai DreamWorks Yang Yang Dance School and Yang Yang Jazz Dance. The troupe has trained a large number of outstanding jazz dancers across the country.
At the same time, he is the leader of Chinese TV dance programs. He has hosted, produced and directed a large number of popular TV dance programs, and promoted countless young modern popular dancers into the public eye. In 1996, when her Chinese modern jazz dance troupe was at its peak, in order to achieve another breakthrough in art, Yang Yang resolutely gave up his brilliant career and entered the most famous Hollywood dance school in the United States, Edge Performing Art School, for three years of arduous further study in jazz dance.
In 1999, he founded Shanghai DreamWorks Dance School and served as its principal.
