The consort Wu Bing loved music and was a court musician during his reign. Therefore, he brought a large amount of information about court music and musicians and singers to Chaoyang and settled in Miancheng. Its seeds were gradually sown from Miancheng to various towns in Chaoyang.

In the Yuan Dynasty, Chaoyang people organized "immortal appreciation meetings". Every Mid-Autumn Festival, in the name of immortal appreciation, they played the music of the Song Dynasty and expressed their concern for the country. There were many people participating, and they all gathered at the South Altar of Mian City.

From then on, the seeds of court music took root, blossomed, and bore fruit in Chaoyang, absorbing nutrients from the soil of Chaoyang, and blending traditional folk tunes, ballads, dramas, strings, gongs and drums, and Sanskrit tunes from Chaoyang. form, forming Chaoyang flute music.
