Module 8 (Music) of the 2023 Provincial Unified Examination for Art Majors will start on January 4. There will be 7,000 candidates for this exam. From now on, candidates can log in to the registration website (website: gkbm.ahzsks.cn) to print their admission tickets. The relevant matters are now reminded as follows:

1. Examination time

1. The vocal music, instrumental music and sight-singing exams will start from January 4, 2023. The specific exam time will be determined. Certification;

2. The music theory and ear training exams will be held from 9:00-11:15 on January 14, 2023.

2. Exam location

The venue for the vocal music, instrumental music and sight-singing exams remains unchanged and is still at the Conservatory of Music, Zheshan Campus of Anhui Normal University (No. 1 Beijing East Road, Wuhu City). See Appendix 1 for the location map.

The ear training and music theory examinations will be held at the location where the candidates take the college entrance examination, and will be organized and implemented by the admissions examination agencies in each city.

3. Preparation before the exam

1. Candidates must take good personal health protection. Arrange your accommodation in advance and plan your travel time and route. Candidates can go to the test center one day before the test to learn about the distribution of test rooms, test rules and relevant precautions, and to familiarize themselves with the environment of the test center. The specific exam time for candidates is based on the time on the admission ticket.

2. Candidates must carefully read the "Examination Room Rules" on the "Admission Ticket" to clearly understand which items can be brought into the examination room and which items are prohibited from being brought into the examination room to prevent violations and disciplinary penalties due to mistaken bringing.

3. Candidates must truthfully fill out the "Anhui Province 2023 Candidate Commitment Letter for the Unified Examination for Art Majors in General College Admissions" (see Attachment 2), and hand this letter of commitment to the exam invigilator or staff before the first exam on the exam day.

4. Examination period

1. Candidates should report and take the exam according to the specified time. They are not allowed to be late. Those who are late will be deemed to have automatically abandoned the exam.

2. Candidates must take safety precautions such as epidemic prevention and control throughout the entire process, avoid gatherings, and enter the test center strictly according to their own test time schedule. After entering the test center, you should obey the management of the on-site staff and are not allowed to walk around at will in the test center. While waiting for the exam, you should try to keep a distance of more than 1 meter from others and avoid close contact and communication. After the exam, leave the exam center quickly and orderly without gathering. If symptoms such as fever or cough occur during the examination, you should immediately report to the examination center staff.

3. The weather will be cold during the exam, so be prepared to keep warm. Makeup and clothing do not affect test scores. To avoid potential safety hazards, it is not recommended to wear floor-length skirts, cheongsams and other performance costumes.

5. Special Attention

1. For vocal music, instrumental music and sight-singing exams, you need to arrive outside the examination room 30 minutes in advance and queue up to wait for the exam, and check in through face recognition or reading the barcode of the admission ticket Don’t be late for admission! It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk from the school gate to the examination room, so be sure to arrange your time accordingly.

2. Please familiarize yourself with the music theory and ear training test venues in advance and make transportation arrangements. You are not allowed to enter the test center 15 minutes after the test starts.

3. During the interview, your name and admission ticket number may not be announced in any form, nor may your identity be expressed or implied in any other way, otherwise it will be treated as a violation.

4. Candidates need to prepare the accompaniment music for the vocal examination in advance. The accompaniment music must be a standard MP3 format audio USB flash drive. If there is no accompaniment, singing a cappella will not affect the exam.
