"Dust in Fireworks" - Hua Chenyu

Lyrics: Lin Xi

Music: West Tower

Watching the flying dust fall Come down

No one has noticed that it exists? How free and comfortable? But the world loves liveliness

Can’t tolerate me being bored? I shouldn’t be alone

Only Am I guarding the quiet desert? Waiting for the flowers to bloom

Am I the only one looking at the happiness of others? I feel emotional

Just let me listen to the big truth? I don’t want to understand

What should and should not be

There is an old child living in my heart

If the world cannot understand, confess to the shadow

Am I the only one still asking

Why tomorrow will be more exciting

No remains of innocence can be found in the fireworks

Am I the only one guarding the quiet desert? Waiting Flowers bloom

Am I the only one who can sigh when looking at other people’s happiness?

Just let me listen to the great truth? I don’t want to understand

Only I am just I'm so strange? I'm still sighing

Why doesn't the wind come back?

When the wind goes away and never comes back, is it sad?

It makes you numb so quickly Should I?

Can I slow down? Laugh happily and cry frankly

Why do you let the world arrange your expressions

I am me, I am just me

Just the dust scattered by a firework? The wind is blowing here

The wind will never come back after it goes away? Can you slow down

Extended information

"Dust in Fireworks" is a song sung by Hua Chenyu. It was written by Lin Xi, composed by Xilou, and arranged by Xilou and Zheng Nan. It was included in the album "Quasimodo's Gift" released by Hua Chenyu in 2014.

On April 13, 2015, it was recommended by the 15th Music Chart Organizing Committee for the Top Ten Golden Melody Award.

Lin Xi was a judge when Hua Chenyu participated in the Direct Spring Festival Gala. She was deeply impressed by his singing and immediately agreed to be invited to write lyrics. She also watched many of his videos and detailed text introductions.

After the official recording, Lin Xi changed the draft based on Hua Chenyu’s sticky characteristics of singing and the arranged recording version, making the lyrics closer to Hua Chenyu’s inner world. The title of the song "Dust in Fireworks" is derived from "I" sung by Hua Chenyu in the competition, and is a sequel to the legacy of fireworks.

The single cover was shot by photographer Fan Xi in a dense forest late at night. When the film came out, the colors of the fireflies, purple-blue rain and mist in the photo were stunning. When designing the key, Gravity Media deliberately retained the original colors and details.
