Li Xiao is the director and professor of the Piano Department of Xinghai Conservatory of Music, a member of the Chinese Musicians Association, and the vice president of the Guangdong Piano Society. Born in 1954, he studied under Professor Xu Xinpu, Professor Yuan Biao, Professor Liu Shangshan, Professor Yu Jiaying and Professor Jin Shi. While studying at Jilin University of the Arts, he was sent to the Central Conservatory of Music for training, where he studied under Professor Pan Yiming.
